What "Bad" habits or mindset make you less productive? And how do you fight it?
Sometimes I have a feeling I could use my potential more. E.g. Spending too much time on the internet → I could go exercise or read books. Not taking advantage of relationships in terms of networking → I should socialise more and ask for help (because I do not do that.). 😅 Not being a part of some co-working or so → I could have more friends and we could create some projects. ---------- Are you aware of something in your life that keeps you behind? How do you overcome it or compensate?

I think the internet is the most exciting thing ever. Async on demand fun for your brain. I hate sync fun, its time consuming 😂

@busmark_w_nika Its relevant to the times. If Einstein or Davinci or Dali lived today. They would spend most of their time on the internet.

inconsistency is a bad habit... it is okay to be not too organized... you can still write it down... but inconsistency is the biggest enemy of success...

@kilopolki I am doing my best to overcome it. :D

When I'm at home, I sometimes end up endlessly scrolling through short videos, so I usually work outside.

My bad habit is trying to do things perfectly, else procrastinate on it, and repeat. Also extremely unsocial.

My current bad habit is definitely spending too much time on my phone, and I feel like I haven’t overcome it yet.😅 Perhaps reading books or doing some craft activities like jigsaw puzzles could help me overcome it.

I see people around are mentioning procrastination as the main reason, however not sure how many of you really know the psychology behind of it. Our brain has a protective mecanism. When we are delaying something, it comes as a reaction to something that bothered us long time ago. I think the first think to do - observe the pattern, analyse it and change the attitude.

@tina_sisman Do you procrastinate too much? 😬

@busmark_w_nika not sure if this is procrastination, I still will discover what is happening with my habits. Using self-therapy journeys for that - they are based on KSA framework (knowledge - skills - attitude). The secret is to change your attitude towards uncomfortable situations. I see you guys super active here - is this procrastination concept still an evergreen problem?
Business Marketing with Nika
@tina_sisman It is a matter of an individual. Some people when they feel unproductive, they keep themselves busy (always). And there are also people not caring too much – they procrastinate and they are okay with that.

Focusing too much on how much needs to be done rather than the small steps ahead. It’s a question of refocus, once I refocus on the small steps ahead I get more done and feel less overwhelmed

@tina_armasu less is more! It is so hard to keep yourself in the focus. This hustle era makes you feel you have superpower to make 1000 things in the same time.

Habit - Making a plan and not following throgh then making another plan for something i just made a plan for just to not follow through. Mindset - "I can do everything" or " Im not good enough"
Business Marketing with Nika

Bad habit since forever: Overthinking. Try to just get on and take action as best as I can, always reminding myself that even if it doesn't work out, a fail is a lesson learned. 😂

- Over thinking - Perfection

Totally relate, @busmark_w_nika! For me, it's over-planning instead of just starting. I get caught up in perfecting my approach, which delays action. To fight it, I’ve started using the 'two-minute rule'—if it takes less than two minutes, I do it immediately. Also, setting small daily goals instead of overwhelming long-term plans helps me stay on track. Networking-wise, I remind myself that asking for help isn’t a burden but an opportunity for collaboration. It’s all about progress over perfection.

One "bad" habit I’ve struggled with is overplanning instead of acting—spending too much time strategizing without taking enough actionable steps. To combat this, I’ve started setting daily, small, actionable goals and using time-blocking to stay on track. Another mindset that held me back was hesitating to ask for help, thinking I needed to figure everything out alone. Now, I actively reach out to my network for advice and collaborate with others—it’s amazing how much faster progress happens when you leverage the power of community.

@kamran_razzaq ufff feeling you! I like planning. Even the process itself. At some point I was catching myself that it should be a new job position - company planner. Jokes aside: I can recommend you a good book to change a bit the mindset about goals setting. Check https://www.amazon.com/NLP-Workb...
