Hey all!
When it comes to marketing you need to find way, always better out-of-box, unique and fun.
For doing this I need to refresh my mind to gain this mental capacity for any kind of creativity.
Creativity really needs mental resources. !!!
And when you work on marketing, you have sooo many things on your shoulder. I mean, soo many channels, details, content and staff.
Would love to learn your tricks, practices, and pains.
Let's speak up.

I use app called Olo. It's based on positive mind wandering and spatial audio journeys instead of concentration meditation. I've tried to learn meditation but it felt like work, and I couldn't find one hour from hectic schedule for the practice. And that's exactly why I love Olo – it was easy to get started and use use anywhere even in the middle of the work day. 5 minute audio journey honestly feels like 60 minutes of rest.

@samulipehkonen Thanks for this recommendation! You're so right when say that meditation feels like work, when you're learning it.
I just couldn't manage it. Let me check Olo.
Sport, massage, youtube.
spiritual retreats with meditation, yoga, different practices without digital devices access to the internet
@dmitriy_strukov Oh right no screen days, totally agree. How do you manage to take a break from Internet and devices? It's hard for me, even on weekends.
@aidai_zu It is more difficult to handle it by yourself, instead, it is easier to practice it and do it in a community of people. I do practice every 6-month spiritual retreat with a mentor and a group of people and practice from time to time by myself by changing location and going to other cities near nature, forests, and mountains.

Long walks alone. It also helps to be creative and come up with new ideas.
Gym and League of Legends works for me.
@vladimir_zivkovic Best combo!

This is a good discussion topic! One method that has always worked for me to refresh my mind is to have multiple activities that are not related to work at all.
I find it very draining to read about work outside work (even though I know many peers are probably doing that). The only books I read are fiction, I actively follow football (soccer), play video games, and consume a cavalcade of TV shows.
All of the above sounds hedonistic, but for creative professions like marketing, I think it's important to let your brain wander and allow it to connect neurons in a different way. I trust that playing Shovel Knight:King of Cards will end up giving me a work idea someday.
Pretty long-winded way of saying...have hobbies!

I usually hit the table tennis room at my office. Playing and laughing eases my head.
@manab_boruah Nice trick! and you also do some physical activity. Will add table tennis to my Wishlist. Can you play it on your own?
Kommunicate
@manab_boruah Right! I love remote, it gives me flexibility and real work-life balance. But frankly speaking I would love to have a working buddy on my sight.
Remote work is fun and real freedom, but it really can make you feel isolated.
Kommunicate
@manab_boruah Oh, that's why working remotely is not so fun sometimes

Take a serious break. When you need to, ignore your startup altogether and for us on something different like outdoor activities, social life, excersize, or vacation.
I always come back with a clear head after that.
As a solopreneurs, I refresh my minds by taking breaks, engaging in physical activity, practicing mindfulness, reading, spending time in nature, taking power naps, and socializing with loved ones.
@shaur_ul_asar taking naps is my favourite on this list, never disappoints

I love going for a walk. I take frequent breaks to go for a walk or a run on the treadmill.

I find spending time in nature to be very soothing. Have you tried hiking or camping? It really works. Plus, it's a great way for me to spend more quality time with my kids.
@inc_gemoo love hiking! I just wish I could have mountains just right in the office

Days off are really important. And Notion is good for a second brain, laying out all your ideas to clear your mind.
@kwaku_amprako Notion is my must-have tool as well. Is there any fan club of Notion users in PH? I would love to join

It's nice to work in different environments.... such as getting away for a couple of days and work mornings from a hotel/resort, etc.. or just different coffee shops, rent an office-on-demand for half a day, work by the pool, or even different rooms of where you live - just about anything. I would imagine the visual juxtaposition of neural response fires different waves of neurons through your brain which can unleash creativity. The change of scenery seems to work for me.
Regular breaks, walks, and mindfulness refresh and boost my creativity. Hobbies and exercise can also clear your mind and spark creativity!
Take rest.
Rest can be different for different people.
Some people:
-Read
-Watch YouTube
-Hear Podcast
-Watch Movies
You can do whatever you want, but make sure that the quality of the content you are watching is excellent because to be creative, you will have to consume some great content for inspiration.
Breathing exercises and spanding time with nature works for me.
