Cancel your life for a while to get the core of what you're trying to solve right. the first period is so sensitive and the key is to get it right. then once you know your on the right track. Subscribe partially to your life again. But the mindset must be, your doing this once or a few times in your life. its not forever. so you can afford to give up a lot to gain a lot later. and ask friends and fam to help you, again not forever, the spotlight is on you for a small pocket of time, you can pay it back to them later.
@sentry_co totally agree.
you just can't limit your attention while starting a new business, and your thoughts about it.
For me right now is just work, day in and day out, nothing else. literally, nothing.
As a single Dad and Solo-preneur it's not easy... I try to roll with whatever tasks I can wrap up into something my kids want to do. Carry my laptop a lot but letting go of things I can't control has kept me sane (most times). lol
I would say
1. Setting Clear Boundaries - Leave work at a reasonable hour
2. Prioritising Self-Care - Block out time for hobbies, family, and friends
3. Learning to Say No - Politely decline when necessary
4. Asking for Help - Delegate tasks if you can.
What works for me is to first Set clear boundaries with my work hours as I try to use my weekend to recharge. Then for my first 4 hours of work, I focus on the high-impact task and lastly prioritize sleep, exercise, and healthy eating
I think it really comes down to
1. Making time for self whether it’s therapy, the gym, some hobby, and etc.
2. Understanding what your priorities are and staying true to yourself with them.
3. Being transparent and communicating expectations with those who depend on you
4. Properly level-setting with those in your network.
Many things will pull you in even more directions, but in my opinion, ensuring you are intentional with those things above will help you stay focused and grounded.

I recently pivoted my career from content industry to product industry , so I don't! I feel that If I want to make it big I have to be dedicated towards word! and Bezos also said something similar that "Balance is a myth"
Interesting question! I think that the truth is that you cannot always balance. I believe that you have to make time for personal life as well. In my case, I would always have important things to work on for growing my business but by prioritizing them with a critical view, this allows me to also include personal life activities in-between.
Try to set boundaries early on to carve out personal time, even if it's just an hour a day. Block it on your calendar. Let your team know you're unavailable then. It's easy to let work take over everything, but protecting your personal life will help avoid burnout in the long run. And don't be afraid to ask for help - from family, friends, mentors, or even therapy. Running a biz is tough mentally and emotionally. Gotta take care of yourself first to keep things in balance.
Balancing work and personal life often involves setting clear boundaries and prioritizing tasks. I stopped overcommitting to meetings that weren't essential, as it was draining my time and energy without adding much value.
Love yourself first, make time for you to build good mood.
To balance work and personal life when running a business, set clear boundaries, prioritize tasks, delegate when possible, and schedule personal time just as you would for business meetings.
Every phase of life has its active and slow sprints. You just need to define them and focus. When my daughter started school, I knew I had to be there to support her. When I’m starting a new project, I know I need to talk to customers and gather feedback. Focus is everything. It’s impossible to be successful in everything. Even if you think you're succeeding in one area, imagine what you could achieve if you went all in.
I have found lot of benefit in following Ikigai or similar methods to periodically self evaluate - my strengths, my interests, value I am creating for others, what others need, etc. maintaining a simple sheet tracking this evaluation is super satisfying over time and also helps me prioritize in small chunks. Keep trending to doing what you love, everything else will balance around it if you are personally fulfilled.
