This week, we focused primarily on our larger initiatives improving search and enabling chat with your knowledge base. However, we still managed to ship the following updates:
Improvements:
Support for YouTube Videos with No Transcripts: We now generate our own transcripts for YouTube videos that don t already have them. If a video lacks a transcript, you ll see a message indicating that we're generating one. It may take a bit longer than usual to receive your summary.
1-Click Share: It s now easier to share cards with others (even if they don t have an account). Simply click the link icon in the top right corner of the card. When you share the link, others can view the content no sign-up required.
Improved Code Block Support: Code blocks now feature better formatting and syntax highlighting within the editor.
Table Pasting via Markdown: You can now paste Markdown that contains tables directly into the Notebook, and it will render correctly.
Improved Copy-Paste: The Copy button in the Notebook now copies content in multiple MIME types (not just Markdown), making it compatible with a wider range of editors.
Table & Code Block Support Within Reader: Content that includes tables and code blocks is now seamlessly stored and displayed within Recall.
Bug Fixes:
Hello everyone, more tweaks and bug fixes just landed. We appreciate your patience as we work through our bigger milestones - we had a delay as we faced some UI/UX challenges. The good news is that our designs are in the final stages, and we ll be sharing flow previews of search for your feedback next week in Discord!
Improvements:
Better Copy and Paste: Links and formatting are now correctly preserved when copying content from Recall to other apps.
Undo/Redo on Mobile: The editor toolbar now includes undo/redo options, extending this functionality to mobile.
