It is very easy to use. I use it for all my development tasks and for most of the time for git command line tools. I think it is the best command line application available. It is not overcomplicated, it has great autocomplete suggestions, color combinations and user control.
Although there are some features I wish were here, iTerm2 is still perhaps the most straightforward yet powerful alternative to the default terminal. Absolutely love it!
iterm2 is the first thing I install when I buy a new Mac.
Beautiful, customisable, efficient. No-brainer for most developers.
