Gnars are a new way to fund extreme athletes. We prefer a world where kids aren't sold energy drinks by their heroes. So as a community of action sports enthusiasts, we've formed a DAO to rethink how extreme sportspeople get sponsored.

āŒšŸ„¶-šŸ„¼ I'm Gami from Nouns DAO and I'm the founder of Gnars DAO. Gnars is a community dedicated to supporting the artistry of extreme athletes. I started Gnars as an art project, but there was such a community that I thought it needed to be a DAO. So I made a proposal to Nouns DAO and they gave us 69 ETH to get started. This is awesome! Nouns DAO pushing the boundary further and further šŸ‘ DAOs need to begin exploring opportunities to standout in more mainstream communities that span beyond Web3. It's awesome that nouns taking a step in this direction. Look, I prefer seeing nouns on a t-shirt at an extreme sports event, and not an energy drink logo.
