I've only used it for a few projects but it's now my go to tool for onboarding and product demos. I'm not going into the list of features as that depends on which level you buy into. What I can say is it knocks all the competitors out of the water. Some not naming names, own onboarding is so bad I gave up trying to use them. Not so with Fable. Straight out of the box you can start working. Intuitive and clear instructions. Decent choice of quality voiceovers or textual dialogue for each step shown.
I really like Fable. The way it records your actions and turns them into an interactive demo for your users is honestly pretty mind blowing. And it is also pretty straight forward to edit the demo where you need to! It could use a few more options for editing/customizing the slides, but for most part its a pretty incredible tool. The ai-generation for auto filling in the text etc for your demo is pretty incredible, but definitely a little bit expensive (because of the cost of the ai... not the team) so you'll want to use that sparingly. However, it's SUPER easy to make really great demos without the ai, and I will reserve my ai credits for that. It's absolutely a BIG LEVEL UP from just a screen recorder demo. And way more effective for my users. The ONLY reason it gets 4 out of 5 stars is because there is room for refining a few features but otherwise, I'm super excited to have Fable in my pocket.
I've been looking for a tool to create interactive product demos for a while, and Fable is exactly what I needed. It's incredibly easy to use, even for someone with no prior experience with this type of software. What I love most about Fable is that it captures the full HTML and CSS code of any web page or application that you record. This means that your demos look and feel exactly like the real thing. This is a huge advantage over other screen recording tools that only capture static images. I also appreciate the fact that Fable is so affordable. I highly recommend Fable to anyone who needs to create interactive product demos. It's a game-changer! If you're looking for a tool to create interactive product demos, Fable is the perfect solution. Fable has been a game changer for me, as it offers an AI to write the captions as I go along. In the travel CRM space, being able to create short or long interactive demos is super helpful. It let's me train users to see the functionality for their actual view point. It has really cut down on my need to have so many tech calls for things clients can fix themselves.
I love how I have the idea of what I want Fable to do for my clients and leads and then Fable does the heavy lifting for me of making the experience fun and interactive for my audience. I want my audience to see the fun and exciting spaces and tools I make for them, but I don't always have the time to create the best interactive experience for them that they need to truly understand the adventure. With Fable I can put my creation in, work with it to make it magical, then Fable makes it a true adventure STORY (or Fable, see what I did there???) but wait until you see what FABLE does there!
