I don't typically leave reviews but i love this product, I've been using Canny personally since the beginning but was recently successful in convincing the rest of the team we need this for our product.
It's been a success story since day 2 of implementation. I could never revert to our old ways of capturing feedback. Love this in every way and the great people that support the project!
The worst product and people in history. They're literally just using companies to run free ads on their public sites to get more traffic for themselves. All your data and roadmap is locked in - and oh - all your competitors can see everything in public, along with your customers - of which the noisiest 5% (that pay no money) will complain loudly in public. Anyone who uses a public roadmap is totally screwed.

Just to clarify a few things here:
- We do have an option to remove our minimal "Powered by Canny" branding on our Business plan.
- We offer an API as well as CSV exporting to pull your data from Canny when needed.
- Private boards are available in Canny to restrict who can view and participate in feedback.

We actually do have an SDK that solves the "yet another account" problem. You can pass over some data to make it a completely seamless experience for the user. The product looks good but I am disappointed by the sales team (Andre).
I have 3 questions:
- Why would we pay 3x more for Canny compared to UPVOTY ? The features look similar.
- Why don't you offer a fair discount for early-stage companies? You benefit from 70% discount from Intercom - Hubspot offers 90% discount for early-stage companies - and you offer 50% on Growth plan if we pay 1 year upfront ... sounds like a joke to me.
- Why is the pricing based on features and # tracked users? If I decide to go with 50 users but I need to ETAs, I need to pay for 1,000 tracked users ?

Canny outperforms Upvoty in many ways.
1. For example, Upvoty:
- There are almost no prioritization capabilities
- Board settings have no categories – you're limited to title and description
- No integrations with Zendesk, Teams, Linear, Github, Asana , Hubspot or Salesforce
- Doesn’t have the option to customize the boards, maximum characters in descriptions of form, or to add images
- Has no AI component (check out our latest launch – Autopilot!)

End user and contributor seats are unlimited. So, even if you're a customer-facing team, and the number of tracked users grows, the bill stays the same.
