Scrimba is awesome and they literally breath life into the concept of active learning. The interactive/live video-IDE interface is so novel, I've never seen it anywhere before. My course, Frontend Developer, has been greatly paced so far and the exercises really let you get in there to play with the code.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 Long time, no see!
Excited share Scrimba Fullstack - a learning experience that blends videos and live coding into a single tool. So no more jumping back and forth between YouTube and your code editor.
Previously, Scrimba only supported frontend frameworks (HTML, JS, React, etc.), but now we've expanded into fullstack—letting you run Node.js, execute terminal commands, build APIs, and develop real-world backends directly within the tutorials. For a quick technical demo, check this 4-min screencast: 🎬 https://scrimba.com/s0kmcarts1
We're launching with seven free courses you can enroll into right away, covering subjects like:
Node
Next
Express
SQL
Vite
Command Line
Supabase
... and more to come over the next few weeks.
Finally, we also provide instant AI-powered code reviews on your code, ensuring that you progress through the courses as fast as possible.
Would love to hear your thoughts! 😎

@perborgen Today's the day! So excited to see where this fullstack direction takes us! 🚀
@perborgen finally backend is here 🫡🤌🏻 thank you scrimba
Focusmate
@perborgen really exciting, good luck team!!
@perborgen
Looking forward to starting my journey, learning with video in conjunction with IDE is an awesome experience. Congratulations to the launch team.
@perborgen 😍
Wow, combining video with an IDE? That’s such a great idea!
Huge congrats on your launch, team!
Scrimba
@kay_arkain Thanks! Surprisingly we're basically the only ones trying to combine the IDE with video. Our CTO got the idea when he wanted to teach his own programming language to other devs, and got annoyed by how regular videos reduce all the data into pixels. Much better to just have the IDE itself act as the video 👨💻 🎬
Super excited to learn the backend from scrimba, as soon as my frontend dev path finishes. Really a goated and well developed path and platform, which has taken me from a zero to 100 in web dev in just 2 months. Gotta love Bob, Per and Tom for doing what they do. Can't wait to learn and build more, and super excited for any more future courses that will launch. (Please drop a UI components course for Shadcn or Aceternity UI.)
Scrimba
@apurv13 Yes, I've been thinking about creating a Shadcn course lately. Hadn't heard about Aceternity, to be honest, but it looks really slick. It'll be more likely we'll do the former first though, as we need to prioritize our limited teacher resources on courses that reach as many devs as possible.
@perborgen Yes would love a Shadcn course from scrimba. Would really let me and others level up their landing pages and other UI components dev skills.
