Backtrack 2.0

Backtrack originally came into being in 2019, as a side project, on our flight home from SF after a rough VC meeting. There was no way to record and remember moments after they had already happened. Fast forward to today, with a successful V1 Product Hunt launch & a product with a strong heart beat, we knew it was time to give the community what they wanted and deserved. Backtrack 2.0 is finally live on Product Hunt. It's a MacOS app that locally records your screen and audio (backwards) to catch those unexpected moments. There's a few things to know: 1. It records backwards - the signal to noise ratio in Backtrack is very high since we let you record backwards, giving you control over what to save. 2. It's 100% local recording - all recording is done locally on your Mac and we take it incredibly seriously. 3. Export your data - after creating a recording you can export your data and decide what to do with it. You aren't forced into anything. 4. Know your recording laws - just like with regular meeting recorders or specific interactions, know ahead of time if you need to properly disclose you're recording. We've worked around the clock this last year to bring the community exciting new features in the app like: - Internal Audio - Screen Recording - Transcription - Integrations & more!
