Hello hunters!
Zoom Apps enable 3rd party developers to create and distribute apps that enrich the Zoom experience and enhance the meeting workflow to increase productivity before, during and after a meeting.
Over 35 launch partners are building Zoom Apps, including Asana, Atlassian, Box, Cameo, Coda, Coursera, Chorus, Docket, Dot Collector, Dropbox, Exer, Gong, HubSpot, Kahoot, Kaltura, LoomieLive, LucidSpark, Miro, Mural, PagerDuty, Pitch, Remix Labs, Rev, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Slack, Slido, Superhuman, SurveyMonkey, Thrive Global, Unsplash, Woven, Wrike, WW and Zendesk. Check out https://zoom.us/docs/en-us/zoom-... and sign up to learn more, as we ship the first apps this year and open it up to developers thereafter.
Blogged about this here https://medium.com/@ross/introdu...
@ross The url works in incognito mode where I guess i am not logged into Zoom, the url does not open in my cognito mode where am already logged into zoom.
@ross — My company's customers (in continuing education) have been begging for a direct integration like this, to the point that we're already doing things with Zoom's web and native SDKs. Is Zoom still adding launch partners for Zapps, or should we be focused on the later-this-year timing when Zapps are opened to all third-party developers?
This is a big deal. I'm curious to see what others build on top of Zoom.
Nascent platforms like this can be a great opportunity for early startups to capitalize on. One somewhat recent example: YOLO grew to 10M+ users in less than a month off of SnapKit.
@rrhoover Spot on, thank you. We've designed this with distribution in mind. App Store where people are paying attention, word of mouth, viral and IT deployment.
Congrats @ross and team! You've done an absolutely amazing job with this. We at Lucid are honored to be an early launch partner and can't wait to ship our @Lucidspark virtual whiteboarding Zapp in Q4. This will be fun!
Hello hunters, I'm a PMM at MURAL. We're excited to join forces with Zoom to make distributed work more productive, engaging, and fun. More than an online whiteboard, MURAL enables innovation at scale by providing a visual collaboration platform for everything from product strategy and planning to leading immersive workshops using agile and design thinking methodologies. The MURAL Zapp will provide a dead simple way for anyone to participate in visual collaboration from CEOs to customers to your own team. We'd love for you to check out our prototype and share your feedback. https://www.mural.co/blog/zoom-zapp
@tlshields Thanks Thomas. Love how Mural re-thought the whiteboarding experience for Zoom as a Zapp. It let's participants contribute ideas as sticky-notes in the sidebar, and then a facilitator arranges for all to see and discuss. I'll have to use it in a product session soon!
@ross It's actually been a long requested feature -- a collaboration only mode -- and our team is excited to be able to build it on Zoom. It's really a perfect match. Congrats on a great launch.
Hello hunters! PMM here from Miro’s Meetings and Workshops Team. Miro is excited to partner with Zoom as an early launch partner for Zapps.
What’s Miro? Miro is an online collaborative whiteboard platform where distributed and remote teams meet and co-create as if they were in the same room for brainstorms, huddles, retros, planning, and more.
The Miro Zapp will give any meeting host the power to turn a video call into an interactive experience that brings in all the power of our facilitation toolkit and collaboration features.

This is going to be a game-changer for the Zoom experience, great job Ross and the team! Super excited to be among the launch partners with @slidoapp, can't wait to bring more interaction and inclusivity to the Zoom meetings and webinars!
This is really exciting to see in the unbundling <> rebundling world of remote tools. Really excited to have Woven Calendar 2.0 be a launch partner to help make life on Zoom a lot easier. Can't wait for this to be live!
Every so often there's a product that will clearly become an important platform, and Zoom is that product right now. Considering the amount of time folks are spending there, and how many new users are now comfortable "jumping on Zoom", the opportunity the platform presents for new ways to work, pursue wellness and connect becomes endless with Zapps.
We're pumped to be adding Studio to the list of early Zapps at launch, and to bring enhanced virtual fitness experiences to communities across the Zoom platform.
@dshan Thanks Derek. Love how Exer is helping professional trainers stay in business using Zoom and your Zapp is a perfect fit. The new events platform On Zoom should be great for your customers too!
Thanks @jonbstrong! Incognito did work for me. I also noticed that the link redirected me to this url: https://zoom.us/docs/en-us/zapps... which seems to work even if you are logged in
Thanks @ross -- Coda is super excited to team up with Zoom on this!
We've been distributed since our inception, and have created a bunch of small experiences inside of docs that help us add engagement to Zoom meetings. We used them so much we turned them into drag-and-drop templates inside of Coda. This platform will really take them to the next level - as Zapps you can tie directly in the meeting context 🔥.
Hi hunters! PM at Atlassian here! If you're curious to know how you can:
1) Run better and more engaging meetings with your teammates over Zoom AND
2) Build strong, healthy team dynamics in this remote world that requires new, creative ways of working + communicating,
then DM me on my LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cath... OR join the waitlist at https://integrations.atlassian.c... !
Hi @ross: Truly a game changer to make meetings really fun with 3D characters and environments!
Super stocked to have LoomieLive be part of this awesome list of Zapp launch partners. Great job @ross and team!.
This is a fantastic way to extend the Zoom in-meeting experience! And we are super excited that LoomieLive is part of the Zapps launch 🙌🏼 Accessing avatars and characters right inside the Zoom interface opens a whole new 3D canvas. Working with your team has been great and we look forward to bringing more options for fun and privacy to the next video call. Congrats @ross and the Zoom team!
We've been eager for this level of integration since day 1 at Docket! The visibility gained from being in this ecosystem and the ease of integration is huge for start-ups.
Congrats @ross and the team! We at @slidoapp are excited to build an app on such an amazing platform. Looking forward to working with you on this and helping Zoom customers run even more interactive meetings!
This is a game changer for Zoom and video conferencing as a whole. I can picture this turning Zoom into a similar slack-esk app integration environment for video calls.
