Notebook for Web - The beautifully simple note-taking app. Now on the Web.

Zoho Notebook is a note-taking application that lets you take text notes, create checklists, and add files and photos. With this release, Notebook is now available across all devices.

Notebook uses a unique "note card" concept that gives you formatted templates for the different type of notes you take.

As soon as we launched Notebook people immediately asked for a web app. We took our time with it for two reasons: 1) We wanted Notebook to have a world-class, mobile-first foundation; and 2) We wanted strong continuity across every device and platform. Notebook for Web brings all your notes and notebooks online. You can create Text, Checklist, Photo, and File Cards. To add a custom Notebook cover, simply drag an image from your desktop and drop it on the cover you want to replace. You can create Photo and File Cards in Notebook by dragging and dropping from your desktop, as well. Notes can be grouped, moved, and copied to different notebooks. And both notebooks and notes can be locked with a passcode. If you have a Notebook account, the web app is automatically available. To sign up for a Notebook account or learn more about the web app, please check out our website, https://zoho.com/notebook. Notebook is also a part of Zoho One, an all-in-one suite to run your entire business. Check out https://www.zoho.com/one to know more about Zoho One.

Its a very good app, Request the Table support. One more cons I observed is, - Notebook mobile app behaves/looks like a mobile app - Notebook Desktop app behaves/looks like a mobile app - Notebook Web app behaves/looks like a mobile app Ideally Its gives more native feeling when app behaves in accordance in the platform. I was accepting a three column architecture on Desktop apps, Really it feel odd while using Notebook Desktop apps on Mac. Even I saw the three column blur image when the mobile app first came out, I was accepting the same view will be used in future for Desktop apps. Rest is fantastic... 👍🏻

Great. Just tried the new annotation feature and it was awesome. Works on the principle of 80:20 rule i.e. 80% of users only use 20% of features. Evernote has a lot to worry. But it seems like everything in the web app opens up in a new popup window including Annotation. It will be much better if this is provided only as an option. I will be very thankful if you could see my detailed feedback on your forum due to image attachment limitation here. Thanks.

Lower option ribbon on writing window is actually proving to do more harm than good and critically reducing my writing windows beside rarely being used.

Been using notes in mobile for a long time. The main pro is that I can maintain personal, official and shopping list separately and its easy to access. I use it as a TODO list also!

Pros:

Many types of notes

Cons:

None faced until now.

Brilliant implementation, search on Notebook is fast and doesn't miss anything (unlike my previous paid service!). Congratulations.

Wow - I've been looking for something like this for a while. Simple, clean, but also has a ton of features. The gestures look 👌. I've been using Trello for a while now and there are definitely sometimes where it is too limited - it doesn't quite fit the use case of the "notebook" like idea. Looking forward to using this!

I like it, however, there's one problem. During the setup tour, it says that a type of note is a "sketch" or a drawings as well. However, I only see text, file, picture and to-do. Am I missing something?

@filip_kordanovski On the web app, we don’t provide Sketch card. Sketching exists on phones and tablets. If you have sketches created on mobile devices, you’ll be able to view them on the web.

Notebook is free. And ad-free too. We don't sell your info. We don't do ads. Our business model ensures our ability to act in your best interest while storing and securing your data. seems good

Nothing superfluous, just the right one. With respect to the developers)

Overall this app looks great and has lots of nice features. I thought I found a replacement for Google Keep, but unfortunately I can't have a note shared with somebody else, so no common shopping list or anything like that.. Hopefully this will be added later.

Pros:

Free, good design, a lot of useful features

Cons:

No sharing/collaboration with friends

no scrollbar means using long notes is painful, while I like most of the functions, this is close to a deal breaker for me.
