@vkdevcraft Good afternoon, I am just starting a career in programming languages and in AI, I am taking Neural Network courses: from principles to practice, I am ready to work productively and learn new things.
James Bream
@vkdevcraft A really interesting model to monetise prompts in a marketplace this way. Congrats on the launch!
Vladimir Kosenko
@jamesbream Thanks, mate!
Bren Kinfa 💎 SaaS Gems
Sweet, looks pretty cool! I think this could definitely come in handy with automation. Would love to see some working demo (or some freebie credits) without requiring sign-up. :)
Don Hardman
@brenkinfa Hey, and thanks! We are giving some credits to test it on sign-up, so it's possible to check after sign-up. Well, maybe we can improve this process, and ready to hear good suggestions on how we can make it better. But now, only signed-up users can test it. We have huge plans and little time to do them, but a step we are on the way to the vision, slowly but consistently :) Automation, solution combo to solve the single task, API access, and many different AI models aim for ease of use to solve the task of masses who are not so skilled in prompting, the possibility to develop custo apps, and much more that we have in our Roadmap.
Vladimir Kosenko
@brenkinfa You are welcome anytime, Bren! new cool features ahead!
Brittany Joiner {Britt the Builder}
Love the idea of helping prompt creators monetize their prompts! That's where the magic is these days because OpenAI is everywhere—it's all about knowing how to talk to it!
Vladimir Kosenko
@britt_joiner absolutely true 💯 Tons of exciting features ahead 🚀
Alexey Yurkevich
Hey, congrats on the launch! Love this. Finally someone aggregated this. Do you have search capabilities to find proper prompts faster?
Vladimir Kosenko
@alexey_yurkevich Thanks! ATM we support just a search within current category. Global search will be available in May. Decided that it is OK to postpone such functionality for MVP
Don Hardman
@alexey_yurkevich Definitely full text searching in our priority list due to prompt creation boom after launch :)

I'm absolutely thrilled to see this AI marketplace! The concept of creating prompts and earning commission on each use is truly innovative. It's exciting to see a platform that brings the power of AI to engineers in such a seamless and user-friendly way. Can't wait to join the beta and build my own prompt library! Also, the fact that you support GPT-4 and plan to integrate midjourney shows your commitment to staying on the cutting edge. Keep up the fantastic work! 🧠💡
Vladimir Kosenko
@odinozlen1 glad you love it! A lot of new existing features ahead 🚀
maelus
Congrats for the launch! Interesting approach, love the concept. Still, not sure what I'm being asked to pay for- you promote it as a place to earn money with prompt we create and the first thing I see is to buy credits for an unclear purpose 😄
Don Hardman
@maelus Hey! Thanks for your congratulations. Credits are required to run "Tasks"; different models need different prices; well, on the first sign-up, we top-up the account with 20 credits, so you can try and check how it works mainly on the GPT3.5 model. If you are here to craft and sell new prompts, credits are also used for self-testing prompts. You probably saw it when you spent bonus credits after registration. If not, let us know more details, so we can dig and check it out. Thanks 🙏
Vladimir Kosenko
@maelus Thanks for your feedback! Promise we will make it all clear

Hey @vkdevcraft thanks for sharing. I've taken a look at your product today as I was really intrigued with this concept of having a favourites/labour of prompts creating by experts that I can validate by user usage/reviews. Some key pieces of feedback or questions below from me: - I found the user flow to save options in the marketplace to your favourites quite difficult. I eventually found it after moving through a few screens but hoped this was easier to save from home page. - Once going through to an option I was expecting to see a pre-built query. Without this (which I didn't see) I struggled to keep the initial motivation to use your marketplace. E.g. If I go to the coding expert option to code anything I want, there is a lack of instructions on what to do next just an input field. Does this access a more premium version of AI software I can't use myself? It brought about many questions on the use case... In summary for my last point if you can improve user education I think could help increase usage/engagement with your marketplace.
Vladimir Kosenko
@sandiforward Thanks for the valuable feedback, Jye! Let me clarify some of your questions. 1. About favorites. That's true: the only place, where you can add a prompt to Favorites - marketplace. I can confirm that it is a bad UX, but we don't want to fix it ATM, because we are working on a big feature, that will solve this issue and will make your experience creating your own space of personal prompts much easier. 2. About pre-built query. If I understand correctly - you want to see the full prompt instructions, before using the "Option". We don't allow that, our main focus is to save the intellectual property of Prompt Engineers. "Options" are created by other users, so it is their job to provide the clear description of the output and the result. 3. About premium features. Absolutely true that you can use ChatGPT3 for free anytime. And you can create an "Option/Prompt" by yourself. 100% true. But what is also true - is that if you want to create a high quality prompt you will spend a few hours tuning and testing it for the best result. And what if you want to create 100 different prompts? Would you spend 200 hours for that? I think no. Our service is a library - someone created a Prompt that is a perfect fit for your needs, Engineer spent his time, creating the perfect one, so he for sure wants to recoup the time spent, that's why it is not free, but it's cheap. Also, we gonna add more AI tools and plugins soon. 4. About the education. 100% true - it is a new market and people should be educated. We just 2 engineers developing this project, so we need some more time to make our service perfect.
Jye Sandiford
@vkdevcraft thanks for this, really good answers. 1. Makes sense 2. Understood, puts more emphasis on trust then - ratings is a good start but perhaps reviews could also help build trust as the volume of usage continues as a suggestion. 3. Understood, my learning/use cases are still pretty shallow so far so I can't tangibly understand that yet. 4. Sounds good. All the best with the Library moving forwards

Crafting the perfect prompt to tackle complex tasks is no small feat – it's challenging, time-consuming, and often leaves us scratching our heads 😓. In recent times, prompt engineers with expertise in the field have taken to selling "open-sourced" prompts, which hold immense value and can even be redistributed or resold 📈. A key obstacle we face is making the process more accessible to end users who may not be well-versed in prompt engineering and long for a user-friendly interface to easily accomplish their tasks with ease 🤔. By offering well-prepared and thoroughly tested solutions, prompt creators can effectively cater to their needs. In essence, there's a win-win solution within reach 🎉. Creators can reap the benefits of high-quality prompts and affiliate programs, while customers can smoothly address their concerns using a straightforward interface and handpicking the tasks they need to tackle 🌟. Let's work together to bring these innovative solutions to life!

@vkdevcraft so for today if I have several team members we should by several accounts?
Vladimir Kosenko
@dzianis_yatsenka yes, now it’s about personal usage
Vladimir Kosenko
@dzianis_yatsenka but you can use the same account for sure

Congrats on the launch 🔥 I love the Spotify analogy, it really helps to visualize how it works. I have a question - can you tell us more about the security measures you have in place to protect the prompts? And, do you have plans to expand the AI models you support beyond GPT4 and midjourney in the future?
Don Hardman
@vera_ratovska Hey there! Thank you for your support and enthusiasm about our launch 🚀. We're glad that the Spotify analogy helped you visualize the concept better. We use several mechanisms to protect your prompts, including: – Encryption: We keep your data safe on our servers by encrypting it. – AI Protection: We are tuning requests to the AI models to make them more secure and prevent the revelation of prompts (experimenting with it, probably will run bounty hunting soon). We're continuously working on improving these measures to ensure the highest level of security for your data. As for expanding the AI models we support, you're right! We have plans to extend our offerings beyond GPT-4 and MidJourney. The integration of DALL-E 2 and other innovative models is already on our roadmap, and we'll continue to incorporate more cutting-edge AI technologies as they become available. Our mission is to provide users access to a diverse range of AI models to cater to their unique needs and applications.
Yenire leal
I love this proposal. It can be really useful for our team and also for joining you. I will be trying it out. Congratulations on the launch.
Vladimir Kosenko
@yenire_leal thanks a lot! You can try it today with 20 free credits on sign up 😎
KyleKesterson
So it's like Brancher.ai, creating the form fields and underlying prompt structure, but delivers it in a marketplace card vs a standalone page. The marketplace definitely helps with the discoverability.
Vladimir Kosenko
@kyle_kesterson didn’t know about the other service. But yeah, you are right! 🚀

💡 Bright idea
Hey guys, I am new to producthunt. I guess I don't understand the product fully. There will be two parties. One is the prompt producer who will create prompts and list them on the marketplace. There will be prompt consumer who can access the prompt. Is this correct? Like they can see the listed prompt or how it will be consumed? Kindly consider using simple language. I dont get the meaning from "Spotify for prompts, but for engineers"
Vladimir Kosenko
@xnivaxhzne you are 100% right. So, any user can create a prompt/solution, but by default it’s private and visibly for you only, and you are the only one who allowed to use it. So, you can create your own list of everyday solutions. If you want to earn some money - you can publish your prompt/solution on marketplace. Every time someone uses your solution - you will receive a small commission.
Kavinkumar
@vkdevcraft So, here the prompts won't be visible to the consumer. But combination of input fields will be shown. I tried this "Create 5 tweets that maximize engagement and attractiveness!" (https://zentask.ai/marketplace/t...) which shows me 4 fields(Tone, Topic, Emoji, Hashtag) where I can fill and the system will generate outputs for that context, without exposing the prompt. So for each task, I would be charged the mentioned credit. Here one feedback from my side is, it would be better to have one example for each task already present there to see its capability before spending my credit.
Vladimir Kosenko
@xnivaxhzne you are right. Usually it's better to start creation your prompt ideas within chatGPT official site - its fully free. When you think your prompts is ready - you can move it to our platform. That's how I personally do it. But yeah, we would work on some improvements in this field. Thanks for your feedback!
Don Hardman
@vkdevcraft @xnivaxhzne, as creator and prompt engineer, you are charged by minimum required (base price), simply just because we pay for it also. Your points are great, actually, we will consider thinking about it how we can improve. Still early and at this stage, we do not have enough data to understand if we will be able to provide prompt-engineers kind of "free testing" possibility. But for now, we adding 20 free credits on sign-up, so basically it's 20 usages of GPT3.5, maybe we will consider adjusting it in the future. If you have any good suggestions for a win-win solution, we are happy to hear them! Thanks for your valuable feedback, appreciate it. 🙏
Kavinkumar
@donhardman I guess there is a misunderstanding. Quoting my earlier reply "Here one feedback from my side is, it would be better to have one example for each task already present there to see its capability before spending my credit." I meant this for consumers. Because your comments gives me an impression that you interpreted it for producers. Lets take this task(https://zentask.ai/marketplace/t...), which costs 12coins yesterday. Lets assume, as a consumer, I want to try it. I am not sure about the efficiency of this task. Only after spending 12 coins only I can get to know whether it works for me or not. So instead of that, it would be nice to have one sample final output visible even before trying. The same output can be shown to every users.
John Toomey
Great product! It brings together so many AI-related services on one site. Why didn't someone think of this before? Can't wait to see what you'll do next
Don Hardman
@john_toomey1 Thanks! Well, we are still early in AI field, so many unexplored usages of it :)
Vladimir Kosenko
@john_toomey1 thanks for your suppport! 🙏
Tom Camps
It's an intriguing idea but I didnt see any review or rating system. Am I missing it? Am I expected to pay for a prompt solution purely based on how engaging the title is?
Vladimir Kosenko
@tom_camps yes, you are right. Reviews will be available later this month. WIP since the number of available prompts is too low, this functionality was postponed
John Carter
What AI website ot software can I use to convert text or scripts to video uploadable on Social Media?
Vladimir Kosenko
@john_carter24 sorry, have no idea about it, mate 🤔
Jatin Keni
Hi, Nice product guys! Loved how it saves time by providing ready to use use-cases. Also loved the way website was designed, keeping in mind easability as the prominent factor. I think the UI with respect to the coin usage should be changed or improved. While clicking on the use-case, users would feel that the cost of insight generated would be only 1 coin but once we go inside and select the model the cost of insight generated changes.
Vladimir Kosenko
@jatin_keni great feedback! Yeah, there are a lot of things to improve especially the UX part. We are devs, the current UI is our maximum 😀 After a few more features gonna review the UI again 🚀
Jacob Si
So I registered and logged in but what was hard for me was to understand the value proposed. Is it possible to have a side-by-side comparsion showing: "hey this is what happens if you just use ChatGPT, but this is the result you would see if you used our stuff "? (so I did the same thing testing out the plugins from Speak/Shop/Wolfram inside ChatGPT to get a better understanding the value of those plugins) (To ease up on the dev effort, you could just do this on a notion doc instead of coding)
