Any plans to tie these products together? e.g. going from flow chart/mind map to screen wires using shared information architecture artifacts. I'm currently using MindNode for rapid information architecture capture during ideation sessions (keyboard shortcuts are key), Realtimeboard for organizing larger information artifacts, flow charts, moodboards and some light wireframing and finally Basalmiq for click-through wireframes.
All the segmented information architecture is a pain to keep updated as further ideation sessions/iterations take place. Huge gap in the market with this right now.
@chanjohnathan Hey John, this is a fantastic idea. We are definitely wanting all of the products to be tied together. In fact, one of the reasons we started building Whimsical is because we witnessed the fragmentation of tools & documents like you mentioned. Stay tuned! So just got done playing with the free account. This is a really awesome tool for rapid prototyping. Just one thing that struck me as odd....Why are the device frames not masks for your content? How am I supposed to put a colored header at the top of the iPhone X? My rectangles cover the notch. 😖 I also have to waste time lining up my shapes to match the size of device viewport. If it was a mask I could be faster and sloppier with it and it would still look perfect. Something to consider, thanks!

Little bit mixed up on pricing, the $12/mo is for the flow charts, the sticky notes, and the wire framing?
@rmanor yes, it's everything + any future types of documents we will add too. At the momemnt wireframes and flowcharts are available to everyone, sticky notes is set to follow soon.
I’ve been using Whimsical paid plan for a few months now and love it. The new collaborate in real time feature has me all hot and bothered! Amazing feature that will cut down on the painful back and forth of collaboration. Great work, guys!

@metaminds Hey Bas, while the general use cases are similar, pretty much everything else is different :)
- Whimsical is simple and streamlined. We believe that less is more. You'll notice this right away when you start creating a Flowchart or Wireframe.
- Whimsical is built for speed. Everything, including the contextual toolbars, the keyboard shortcuts, and the style options, is intended to make the app fast to use.
- Whimsical is use-case specific. We have different objects, shortcuts, toolbars, etc for Flowcharts and Wireframes. This is so that each creation experience feels tailored to that exact activity. Btw, the Sticky Notes product is coming up next :) https://www.producthunt.com/upco...
I'd encourage you to check it out for yourself though. It's easier to experience it firsthand than read about it. We give everyone 4 free boards when they create an account so you'll have plenty of space to experiment. Let me know how it goes!

First, let me just say, Music in this promo video is lit! The product is solid, or should I say smooth? This is what I expect from a wire-framing software.
I've started to test out the wireframing tool so I can share my ideas with my team more easily, and so far it's working great, and the wireframes look awesome btw.
Pros:Easy and full of functionalities
Cons:None so far.
Amazing tool for even non designers. I’m using Whimsical at Havenly to communicate product changes to my design team. Love it!

I've been using this to work out flowcharts of new processes and strategies and it's been an absolute treat to use. Great to see wireframes being added by the Whimsical folks. Looking forward to seeing this grow and expand.
