Massive fan of Weekend Club, the only community I've been active in for years. Whether you're a builder, maker, designer, marketer, dev, indie hacker or any other business building title -- you're missing out if you're not part of it!

I've been a Weekend Club member since the beginning of 2021. It's been so good to have a support network of others who are in the same boat as me. Charlie is very responsive to the community's needs. Over the last few months, he has run many experiments to improve the experience. When I started I wasn't sure if I would be able to join every weekend (or would even want to). Then Charlie introduced the weekday sessions and that's been perfect for me. I join in when I can. The Slack is very active (but not noisy) and people are always ready to help. I'm finding the mastermind (a smaller group within the group) also very useful for accountability and going deeper with challenges. I've made many friends with whom I often talk one-on-one. I've been on a break from Twitter (it got too much for me). Weekend Club has been the perfect replacement - a real community without the madness of Twitter.

I am a big fan of the remote co-working & learning sessions, as well as the masterminds! Being a solopreneur, actually being a solo-anything, can be quite lonely, I’ve learned that first hand in the last few months (trying to bootstrap something myself). For me Weekend Club 2.0 has been a Godsend in terms of accountability, resources, and friendly unbiased advice! Of course, you could argue one can do most of their work on a number of specialised platforms. But the community - of people, ideas, differing backgrounds - THAT is a good reason to come to one place i.e. Weekend Club 2.0

I've been a member Weekend Club since mid 2021. I am glad I decided to look into it after hearing it mentioned on the IndieHackers podcast. At first I didn't think it was for me since I am not in London and I don't have weekends free to work. Despite the name however, weekend club actually has events throughout the week and an active slack as well! The remote part is well organized as well in terms of time zones. I like the focusmate style co-working sessions. The "coffee club" has been nice for meeting new members. More than anything, I value the ability to actually get to know others on this journey at a deeper level in this calm space (more so than you can do in other more crowded and more noisy places on the Internet). Lastly, Charlie has been building communities and connecting indie founders for a long time. He is definitely skilled at community building and he is attentive, thoughtful and intentional about improving things at Weekend Club. Congrats on launching @charlierward!

Really love this! One of the things that bothers me most about the idea of stepping out there and setting up my own business is going it alone!
