With VSCO Studio on web, creators have access to VSCOβs professional presets and tools for more precision, efficiency, and uninterrupted workflows across mobile and desktop.
Very exciting launch from VSCO, one of my all time favorite photo editing apps. This is big for two reasons: competition is heating up from generative AI products as well as TikTok, and, VSCO now has a new CEO!
Say hello to @ewittman, a long time member of Product Hunt!
@chrismessina I've used VSCO a long time ago in the early ages of Instagram :)
Since then I switched to RNI, but I'd love to give a try with the new web interface!
Congrats @ewittman on the launch and good luck!
@chrismessina thanks so much for hunting us! Hard to get anything past you nowadays!
We're very excited to be building more tools for creators and photographers to help support their rapidly changing needs. We are building this product with the community and appreciate all the feedback so we can make this product better together. π
I used VSCO on my phone for a long time. Happy to see it's made it's way to the desktop. It is so much more useful for designers like me to have it on a desktop than on the phone.
Wow, fantastic news! As a long-time VSCO mobile app user, Iβm excited to see the teamβs continued innovation and success. Congrats, guys, on the great launch! π
Congrats team and @ewittman ! High-end desktop design software isn't new to you (COO at Figma) - curious if there are any particular lessons that stand out as applicable with VSCO? (I'm sure there are tons, but any top of mind?)
@rajiv_ayyangar Thanks Rajiv for the well wishes.
Lots of lessons apply here. Think for us, much like Figma, we see that the way people are working (especially photographers) is really starting to change and necessitates new types of products to support them. This is especially true of folks who are earlier on in their careers and are less beholden to traditional tools. Figma saw the importance of collaboration around product design for the entire software team and also used the web as a platform to facilitate that collaboration.
We're still early in this journey and are excited about continuing to evolve our products based on what people aspire to do. A lot more to come!
