The new Vivaldi browser protects you from trackers, blocks unwanted ads, and puts you in control with unique built-in features. Today's update also launches Vivaldi for Android!
And.. still no iOS app?
Great browser I can’t use on the daily. Whenever that app may come, it is now going to be extra hard for me to move away from Brave..
We're really thrilled to share this major update to Vivaldi!
With people spending a lot more time online during these difficult times, we knew it was important to focus on giving you a browser that protects you from trackers, blocks unwanted ads, and provides you with more useful features than any other browser.
Today also marks the official release of Vivaldi for Android. A lot of work has gone into creating a unique experience here, following 2 Beta versions and a lot of great feedback! You'll find many of Vivaldi's flagship features from desktop translated to a mobile and tablet-friendly format. Our focus was on ease of use, flexibility, and keeping go-to tools within easy reach.
Both the desktop and mobile versions come with new privacy tools – tracking protection utilising DuckDuckGo’s Tracker Radar and built-in Ad blocking. You can find out more about our partnership here: https://vivaldi.com/blog/built-i...
If you know Vivaldi, of course you know there's a lot more to the story! 😀 Check out our blog for all the details: https://vivaldi.com/
Take Vivaldi 3.0 for a spin and let us know what you think!
@jonmccull Vivaldi has completely redefined web browsing and has left some of the competitors on how to improvise their own browsers. Now Vivaldi is my preferred browser and Firefox.
@jonmccull :) good day, can you please if have some time...briefly tell, what inspired Vivaldi in you? Just a short sentence or like that as I feel you guys have less time for replies :D
Vivaldi was great and now it's even greater. Good luck with it. It's a very good browser with so many customisation options. The only thing I need now is iOS version, so I could swiftly open sites on iPhone and customise the browser.
Happy that is out of Beta version (for Android OS) though I encountered ZERO issues with the Beta version. No crashing. Nothing. Built on the top of Chromium but has never been on the Vulnerabilities list which I read every evening... All new features like Ad blocking & Trackers blocking just make it the very best for me. Speed, Security, Privacy.
That's what I've been getting from it.
I can't afford to run a full test between Chrome and Vivaldi. Yet Vivaldi so far downloads plugins & themes from wordpress.org MUCH FASTER than Chrome does. Congrats Vivaldi!
Un gran navegador con unas novedades increíbles. Bienvenida su salida de beta para android y aplausos para la integración (con apoyo de DuckDuckGo) del bloqueador de anuncios en todos sus sabores. VIVALDI: Rápido! Seguro! Privado!
I Know detailed review about aloha-browser . You don’t even have to install it manually – user friendliness at its best! Also liked the one click backup and restore along with the privacy features.
The price for lifetime license seems minimal as compared to the vast list of features it offers. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Vivaldi is very power and insanely customisable browser..very useful if you have websites you visit repeatedly. there are so many ways create shortcut than just a bookmark. Plus it has timer, pomodoro, calendar search engines.
I have a set of 5-6 Pc and Laptops, with Linux and Windows as OS and have installed only Vivaldi on all of them. This browser has great features to use and comes handy for my multitask.
