Video is a great way to communicate complex ideas, review designs, and share important information with empathy and emotion.
Over the past year, we’ve noticed a trend with our customers increasingly using Vidyard to communicate directly with their peers.
Due to COVID-19, remote work has been mandated for many. We know from experience that just because people are remote, it doesn't mean they need to feel that way. And we’re lucky that innovations in digital technologies have been proven to enable productive engagements.
Not every communication happens in real-time. Slack, email and other on-demand services effectively compliment real-time communications, giving you and your team the ability to review and respond when they have the time. Video is no different. And with our announcement today, we’ve made it even easier—and more secure.
Vidyard for Internal Communications was designed and built based on the demands of hundreds of thousands of our users who need a way to share complex yet sensitive information while making sure it’s secure and only viewed by the intended recipient.
When we looked at other products trying to solve this problem, we observed that security doesn’t currently seem to be a priority. We’ve been able to build upon years of experience working with enterprise customers to layer in important security functionality that was previously only available to large companies and make it accessible to everyone.
Given the current situation, we’ve now made this available for free. COVID-19 shouldn’t limit your business’s ability to collaborate and be productive.
Thank you so much to everyone that has supported this journey, especially to the thousands of users who have already provided feedback for us along the way.
To the PH community, thank you for your ongoing support. Vidyard is made for you, and will always be free to use.
Great to see this to support the new remote working world! Vidyard's free video messaging and screen recording app is perfect for communicating with customers and peers, but the secured version makes a ton of sense for internal business comms and executive updates. Love it!
