Hey Everyone, Momčilo here, Co-Founder and CEO at Videobolt. I want to share a project inspired by personal experiences and driven by a genuine desire to simplify video editing for everyone — Simple Video Tools. A while back, I watched my father struggle with seemingly straightforward video tasks (merging two clips he recorded into one or cropping the funny bit of a YouTube video he wants to share with friends on WhatsApp). He faced two challenging options: (1) using rather complex software like Premiere Pro or (2) using online platforms with unwanted ads, mandatory registrations, and watermarks on exported videos. Needless to say, both options were frustrating for my dad (ever felt his pain?) At Videobolt, we believed there had to be a better way, especially with our existing infrastructure that already supported our global audience creating motion graphics (brag time: we rendered more than 25 million videos so far). Introducing Simple Video Tools — our answer to those challenges, designed to be completely free, clean, and incredibly user-friendly. Your choice. ↔️ Flip: Create a mirrored version. ⏮ Reverse: Flip the script for some fun. 📹 Convert to MP4 or 🖼️ GIF: Flexibility in your formats. 🔇 Remove Audio & 🎶 Add Audio: Craft the perfect sound. 🎵 Extract Audio: Grab that catchy tune. But why offer this for free? Our primary motivation was to give back to the community. We've learned so much and received incredible support over the years, and offering Simple Video Tools for free felt like the right way to express our gratitude. On the other hand, and speaking candidly, we also saw potential benefits for our business. By providing this tool, we hope to improve the overall experience for our Videobolt users, attract more users to our platform, and subsequently boost our brand, online presence and ranking. @mocarg it does, we like adding GIFs to product releases, they are usually from Loom. There's no speedup feature for this, and that's something I had a need previously a lot 😄

@mocarg It is not a specific tool, but it was stressful to search for the functions I needed with the traditional tools. This tool is stress-free for a novice watcher in that I can quickly find what I want to do.

Currently, I am using Veed for video editing. While it offers features like editing, voiceovers, and AI-generated voice, I find it challenging to locate some of the tools within the product. Despite this, I believe I will continue to use the `Simple Video tools` product because it offers great features, ease of use, and competitive pricing for users like me. Looks great! Thanks for providing a bunch of cool video tools in one place for free. This is actually something I was looking at recently, as a freelance MarTech guy, I have a need to record something I worked on and that I delivered, and then send it to a client as a video explainer. This tool will help me quickly trim, merge, adjust audio, even export some of the small things as gif (I often need that to give them simple explanations)! This is just so easy to use :) and blazing fast! Again, thanks for this! Future improvement ideas: Adding features like screen recording and small video editing features like adding objects, lines, stickers or similar would make me use it without any other tools (as I need something for screen grabbing). I would even go for a paid VideoBolt service and use it to create social media content of my work powered by that awesome library of templates you have!

@mocarg Perhaps a tool to adjust the brightness would be a good addition. I also frequently use tools to extract voice or remove background noise, but implementing such features requires a lot of work :p

Sweet backstory in the launch notes, the approach feels awesome. >Support is great. Feedback is even better. Just a few thoughts on landing: I'd prefer a diff domain for each tool (maybe with a few badges for Videobolt around the site) When I land on a page like this, I expect a paywall just since it's under a larger company lol. (Header w/Pricing, solutions, etc) Just throwing it out there :) - The icons for compress and speed are the same (tiny but since you mentioned feedback haha) My ideal version of this project is a custom domain for each tool (expensive) so I can use them like remove.bg (Purchased by canva, but I use it every day since I can type remo...into the url bar and it auto completes haha.) So something like (checked and these are all available) merge.bz compress.bz or compress.cx loop.wf I don't know, they look weird, but remove.bg has me inspired, what can I say. 😂 Congrats again on the launch! Hope that's the type of feedback you were after :)
