What's your actual "vibe" while vibe coding?
For me, it always starts with a coffee. Unless it's evening, which is pretty common when I'm vibe coding, and then it's tea.
In terms of themes, I've been digging catppuccin wherever I can use it. I know there are extensions for @VS Code @Cursor and @Windsurf. I've mostly been working with @Claude by Anthropic in @iTerm2 and it's available there too. Their website has a huge list of places you can use it.
For music, I almost always go jazz. I've been really into a noir/detective playlist lately that's been fun to vibe code to.
How do you set up your vibes for vibe coding? Any playlists or themes you'd recommend?

@catt_marroll Fun fact! @zenorocha from @Resend created Dracula. He's also did a video with @VS Code about creating your own extensions where he tells the story behind creating it.
I'm also now looking up bonobo boilerroom!

@zenorocha @jakecrump oh cool! i also am a paying user of resend! but i had no idea there is a connection there!
this is my personal fav!
I can't code during the day or in the morning. I love doing it in the evening after dinner. I put on my headphones, turn on Lady Gaga tracks, and create my apps while dancing wildly. Hahaha))
Personally, I don't use themes.
Music, motivation to move to the US, and a good mood — that's my vibe coding.

Love this thread! Lately for me it's been:
- Coffee - I'm hooked on Philz philtered soul
- Sanzo calamansi sparkling water (the half-filipino in me loves that this is even a thing)
- tools - I've been using a bunch for prototyping - @Windsurf @Claude Code , @ChatGPT by OpenAI for brainstorming - since it has a lot of context on me and my products, and @Hex - I'm often pulling data bricks to play with.
As for music, I've never been able to listen to music while I'm working, but I do have a piano in my apartment. Sometimes, while the agents are working, I'll noodle a bit on the piano. I tend to waffle between jazz and classical - mostly Bach.
And for deep thinking / planning, I'm still pretty minimalist: @Sublime distraction-free mode, Monokai color theme, markdown formatting.
