Haven’t really used these much my go-to for quick prototyping is still Firebase. Super handy to spin things up fast without worrying about setup. Curious to see how Bolt or v0 compares though!
@nichochar No, wasn't familiar. Will check it out.
I must say it's not so much about the 'everything included' - every one of these tools will iterate to being end to end very soon. For me, there is a difference in the quality of the outputs. For eg, for all the love Lovable gets, the error rates / prompt ratio is so bad (in my experience, of course). Let me check out Mocha though, am curious.
The thing is, the final quality reflects the architecture of the apps that the product instructs the coding models to build.
The lovable architecture is very bad, which is why you see the error rates you're describing.
I think some tools have much better internal architectures (base44 comes to mind).
As for including everything, it's a lot harder than it seems 😅. There's a reason why lovable and bolt take a shortcut with supabase, and replit uses a lot of the infra they built the last 8 years after having raised 250M dollars.
I think ultimately, the "Best" should win, and that will be a direct consequence of the internals. My goal is to make Mocha this good. We have the right foundation and our ceiling is high but I agree that we have work to do (the space is moving so fast!)
@nichochar Playing with Mocha now - here is some feedback that I hope you (or someone!) can take. I personally find it quite suboptimal that the first prompt results in an immediate app creation -> this is the root cause of so much 'fixing' that needs to happen later. Would have actually loved to have an agent first 'talk' with me and understand some of the details, agree on what needs to be in a v1 etc before jumping into code and app gen.
Cool question! Personally, v0 has won me over, it's made building UIs feel less like a chore. I've used Replit a lot in the past for quick coding sessions and collaborations but lately, I find myself reaching for v0 when I need speed.
Replit I have used it 2-3 time but only free or trail version of it and it was amazing experience while using the replit. the output was outstanding and as I expected.
if I had to pick one, it would be Cursor. It's become my go-to because its AI-powered features significantly speed up my coding workflow, from intelligent code completion to instant debugging suggestions. It's like having a super-smart pair of programming glasses! 😂
My workflow feels smoother in v0, especially when I want to prototype UI fast without overthinking structure. It’s not perfect, but I default to it way more often than the others.
#1 - @Replit #2 - @bolt.new and #3 - @Lovable but now after months of vibe coding I'm looking at a platform where atleast 50-60% of the idea should be able to be completed(this is my biggest pain). Actively evaluating a couple right of such platforms at this point of time.
I used Bolt for my app. Didn’t research too much. Made a quick decision by trying the same 2-3 prompts on Bolt and Lovable and chose based on the initial output.
For context, I’m not a developer. Haven’t tried cursor and v0 but based on comments here I’ll explore.
I use Cursor! But have recently tried Lovable again. and my god the results were great and quick. The only issue I experienced is the consumption of credits.

Cursor!
v0 is really good
@theanimeshs @V0.dev is leading the way
@theanimeshs Agreed!

Mocha
@ragsontherocks have you tried mocha? We have a very similar philosophy when it comes to "everything included"

Layout.dev
Try @Layout.dev

for ease, i will chose bolt, but if you want to customize all the design, also the quality of final result, i would vote for @V0.dev
Interesting lineup! I find myself using Replit the most — super handy for quick prototyping and collaborative coding. 🔥
But v0 has been catching my eye lately — love how it's simplifying frontend design. Curious to see how others are using Bolt and Lovable too!

Mocha!! https://getmocha.com, launching on PH very soon :D
