Anyone here making games without knowing how to code?
I used to think game development = coding.
Turns out that’s no longer true (and I’m still kind of shocked).
Last week, I created a mini narrative game — complete with characters, logic, and visuals — without writing a single line of code.
It was built using an AI tool called Redbean, and honestly... it felt like magic.
No blank canvas. Just me describing the vibe I wanted — and the AI helped build it.
🧠 So I’m curious:
Have you ever made a game without coding?
What tools did you use?
What genre would you dream of building?
Would love to see screenshots or links if you’re willing to share! I’ll drop mine below too 🎮👇

I’ve always wanted to make an adventure game. I’ve messed around with a couple AI tools before, but tbh i wasn’t patient enough to finish anything 😅
Btw, did you make your full game on phone?
Redbean AI: Vibe coding a game in 2 mins
@dao_hinh Sure, I make almost every game on my phone, this is so relaxing with Vibe coding!
Yes! I recently made my first game without coding using Redbean — it honestly blew my mind how far these tools have come.
I just described a magical forest + quiz puzzle idea, and the AI helped me shape it into a working game with dialogue, levels, and character choices. I didn’t touch a line of code.
My dream genre? A cozy, narrative-driven game like Spiritfarer or A Short Hike — something that makes players feel something while exploring at their own pace.
Still experimenting, but the creative freedom this unlocked for me is addictive 😄
Would love to hear what others are building!

@bao_quoc4 So excited, Tower defense game is more popular in Mobile!
I’m a writer, not a developer… so making a game always felt like something I’d need a whole team for. But recently I used Redbean to create a small interactive story game — and it was actually fun instead of intimidating 🙈
The AI helped me turn my plot ideas into scenes, added mechanics I wouldn’t have thought of (like emotional branching choices), and even suggested art styles.
I’d love to build something like a poetic exploration game — think Journey meets Inside — where player decisions shift the world’s color or soundtrack. Mood = everything.
Didn’t expect to get addicted to prototyping, but here we are 😅
Anyone else building story-driven stuff?

@bao_quoc5 Yes, RPGs game is not easy for beginner, Redbean is improving stories feature!
