Hello all - Tyler here, I helped build the Equity Fairness Calculator (EFC). As a startup employee and former YC founder, I know firsthand how difficult it is for both founders and employees to understand how to value equity. At Vested, we have built a tremendous database, which can give color to traditionally opaque problems, like equity fairness. Our calculator is the result of hard work from the product, data, and development teams. My favorite feature of the EFC is the additional score checks, which will adjust your score and give information about things like your voluntary/involuntary exercise window(s), your net exercise, early exercise, and other aspects of your equity package. This adds another dimension to the calculator that looks beyond just the numbers, which can really make a difference. Hope you all enjoy the tool and happy calculating!
