Thanks @victoria_wu. We will communicate and educate about those innovations, but more importantly, we will take the ones that we find the most valuable, adapt them to be easy to understand and use, and integrate them directly inside the app :)

@sentry_co Not really haha, we want to bridge the CeFi and DeFi worlds within one application.
As Coinbase, we are providing people easy access to crypto, but the big difference is that we will take innovative products from the decentralized space, adapt them in a way that is easy to understand and use, and bring them inside the app so that you can use one single platform to navigate crypto and discover what's happening on a more advanced level.

@sentry_co Well, that's what we meant when talking about "discovering innovations from the decentralized space", we didn't expand too much on this point as we'll start implementing those in Q1 2025 haha. But you're probably right, should have highlighted and explained it a bit more 🙂
Great timing to launch, especially with BTC hitting new highs! Venga looks like a game-changer for discovering and investing in blockchain innovations. Perfect for celebrating the crypto momentum!
A potential next step could be integrating a trust layer, such as smart contract-based escrow for P2P crypto transactions, mirroring Upwork’s/Fiverr's guarantee for freelancers, escrow. Most wallets leave users to sort things out on their own, but your guys all-in-one approach could change that :)

This is an interesting approach to trust-less P2P transactions. Should we add P2P trades, we might consider this route.
Personally, I like the atomic transactions approach that some chains have implemented natively already, but it depends on the use case obviously.
Just out of curiosity: have you had the chance to try atomic transactions as a trust-less approach to P2P transactions on any chain yet?

Let me start from the fact that all of us in the team have –at some point or another– been passionate users of one or more of these companies. Some of us even used to work for them!
The daily experience that we accrued over time, made us understand not only how these products are used but also, and maybe even more importantly, what their biggest pain-points are.
These can range anywhere from unintuitive interfaces, generally best understood only through several tutorial articles; to segregated products that, although powerful, still do not offer a complete Web3 experience.
Hence, the idea for Venga: a powerful mobile application, designed to assist you navigate the Web3 space; without having to give up simplicity.
Intuitive, powerful tools you will WANT to use: this is why we do it!
