Vectorly for 1-on-1 Meetings — Agenda & Recommendations you don’t need to prepare 💬 ⭐️ ❤️

Hi there, I'm the design director at Vectorly. It's always exciting for me to launch a new version. And it was especially thrilling for me to wait for our new altered meetings to be released to the public. This release primary for engineers, but I have some spoilers for designers...I hope @irina_seng1 don't mind it) I'm looking forward to getting the data from Figma using our vapps right into the meeting's agenda and not having to collect links manually anymore. It is always frustrating me a lot to find files and remembering who was working in what file and on what feature. It will be good to have all this data automatically collected by Vectorly at the end of the week right for our design standup!

This is absolutely amazing! It will surely put an ease into a management! Thank you for implementing this great idea and simplifying our management tasks and duties! Big congrats! ^_^ I would like to ask you is Vectorly perhaps integrated with Teams as well (or will it be in the future)? :)

Hi everyone! Thank you Irina and Kevin for this launch. It's been a tough month of work. We made a pivot of Vectorly to help run 1:1 with developers with recommended agenda and recommendations. It's a lot that happens under the hood and still going to happen, but today it's an absolute relief and happiness, that we've done it. 1-on-1s help our team move faster and I hope it will help engineering teams around the world to run effective and productive meetings to help developers learn, stay motivated, productive and satisfied with what they do every day.

Hi everyone, It's Alex, CTO @ Vectorly. For me, Vectorly Meetings have become a real working tool that I use on a regular basis. Among our team, I was the first to run regular 1-on-1 meetings with developers. In the first version of the product, I actively used discussion topics with questions, where I prepared an agenda. Often I simply forgot or didn't have time to prepare agenda. This made the meetings not very effective and useful for the dev team. The new version has recommendations for each of my employees, so now it's easy for me to select a recommendation and add it to a meeting. For each recommendation, there is already a set of questions to discuss. For example, every 2 weeks I add a list of developer tasks and commits to the agenda to identify problematic issues and discuss solutions. This has started to save me a lot of time preparing for the meeting, and developers have been able to get a set of questions in advance. In the new version, everything that is created and negotiated during the meeting can immediately be added to the development plan or Asana that we use with our team. This was a lifesaver for me, because after the meeting I was spending a lot of time updating the employee's development plan. Now vectorly helps me with that too. I think the final time I spent in a meeting with preparation and recording the results has been reduced by 60-70%. I think a lot of teamsters would like to have that time to do creative tasks rather than admin work. Wow, this product has a lot of potential. 1-on-1 meetings are important. I'll take a look at it - as a product manager, I think I could use it too 😉

It really is very tedious to remember who did the tasks and write the agenda after meeting. The product is definitely needed!

I got nervous watching the into video and seeing that @irina_seng1 is close to the burn out, too. I hope the data was fake — or that you're at least dogfooding Vectorly Meetings 😀 Congrats on the launch though!

Hi guys, question : I see you can plug to Slack and I assume you do natural language processing to evaluate the "toxicity of semantics". How do you handle this with GDPR? Has some teammates might not be OK to get their conversations analyzed.
