Hey Product Hunt! I am pumped to show off our "work in progress" to the no code community (and NEW know-nothing no coders - these are my favorite). ❓ Why we built V.One: As a non technical founder I know what it’s like to not be able to make your tech idea come to life. Growing up with nothing, I didn’t have access to a computer with internet, let alone access to resources to learn to code. Also, growing up I wanted nothing more than to be an entrepreneur. When I had my app idea, I was abandoned by 14 different technical co founders, hired offshore freelancers, and tried to code myself, because I had little money. These things are personal for me. Helping the true, non technical people who have ideas but cannot make them. Empowering the most non technical person to build an app. Not hire a progressional to build it for you. Making it so easy quite literally anyone can do it. Only 4% of people know how to navigate a CMS. Even less can afford the risk of hiring a freelancer, bringing on a technical co founder, or paying the high costs involved with having someone else to build it for them. Lead by a non technical founder who has been through exactly what our customers have been through no one knows the problem better than we do. No one will commit to making an easier solution. One where you don’t have to be highly motivated in order to overcome the learning curve in order to be an app maker. Everyone should have access to technology and we want v.one to be the place where non technical people build their ideas. With V.One you can: ✅ Design inside our app builder or upload designs you already have. It could not be more simple. ✅ Download your source code and extend it, so you or a tech teammate can build on to it as you see fit. ✅ Focus on your end users while making money with form payments, e-commerce and memberships. ✅ Launch your app to TestFlight to test with beta customers, or launch in the App or Android store with one click. Does our builder not do something you need it to? No worries. Just request a feature and we'll get to it. We’d love for you to check it out and let us know what you think!
Michael Novotny
@thejeremyredman Congrats on the launch Jeremy! I’m really looking forward to watching this app and projects Makers create with it. I think there is a huge need in the area of simplifying the process and reducing the learning curve within the native app no-code space. V.one addresses that head on. Looking forward to seeing more!
Jeremy Redman
@michaeljnovotny Thank you, Michael! We already are working with lots of really amazing people from all over. It's very exciting to help folks from all industries launch an app in the easiest way possible.
Jeremy Redman
@hayley_denwood1 Right back at ya!!!
Stef_ecp
@thejeremyredman Congrats ! Looks awesome ! Do you think possible to use it with french texts ?! Would be awesome to use it for some clients in here !
Jeremy Redman
@ecp_digital Hi there! What do you mean by French texts? It probably can!
Damian Chlanda
there suppose to be a free plan, not able to access
Jeremy Redman
@damian_chlanda Hi there! Yup, as you can see in our pricing page, the free plan is coming soon :) If you request access now, you can get on our waitlist to be notified when the plan comes out.
Damian Chlanda
@damian_chlanda @thejeremyredman oh, great! What about if my traffic on the app changes does that change the price? Can I use database for developing web app later?
Jeremy Redman
@damian_chlanda We already have the option to publish your app as a web app. It's focused on the mobile experience. Again, our aim is to make as easy and fast as possible for people to push something live and share it with the world, before even having to go to the app store. And since our pricing isn't based on traffic, that shouldn't be a problem. Unless your app becomes a global sensation overnight! But, even then, we can figure something out ;-)
Damian Chlanda
@damian_chlanda @thejeremyredman great, and you mention on website that I can always get source code and move anywhere if needed?
Jeremy Redman
@damian_chlanda Yup! You can do that any time. As stated in our pricing page though, there is a one-time fee to export your source code.
Sergey Bunas
You guys are a scam. I've tried it for a couple of months and then deactivated the account (there was no button to unsubscribe), and you're still charging me 14 dollars per month. I've written you 3 emails and you're guys ignoring it and sending me a "discount coupon". Also tried to reach out to you guys on Twitter. But also got ignored. https://twitter.com/sergeybunas/... You're the first no-code service that treats their users like this. Besides, you claim that apps made with your platform are "native" but actually they are far away from "native". And they just are web pages. Compared to other services that use React-Native (Adalo, Draftbit, Thunkable) I will definitely not recommend this no-code platform.
Jeremy Redman
@serjobas Hi Sergey! Thanks for reaching out. We haven't been ignoring you actually. The emails you have received are an automation that helps us save time and offer a discount to users who would benefit from a little break. Keith, with whom you've chatted before reached out to me and I personally canceled your account on October 31st. You will not be charged anymore. From your Twitter bio, I can see that you are a front-end developer which is awesome. Our builder, however, was designed with the non-technical founder in mind, which differentiates us from some of those platforms you mentioned. I'm sorry that you think we are a scam but we certainly aren't. We'd be happy to address any other concerns. And we don't mind doing so publicly so, let me know if there is anything else I can help you with :)

smallder
well thats not a great start...dissing engineers now are we?
Jeremy Redman
@smallder Not dissing anyone at all. Just enabling non-technical folks to launch an app. We love engineers!
David Ferguson
@smallder @thejeremyredman You very clearly did. Engineers usually struggle to build stuff "right" because the people up the chain that are supposed to be providing requirements aren't doing their job, whether that be someone else on their team or the actual customer. They're engineers, not mind readers. It's not their fault people can't articulate what they want properly.
Jeremy Redman
@jdfwarrior Hey David, I'm really sorry that it came across that way. It was never my intention to diss engineers, or anyone else for that matter. If anyone understands how hard it is to work with a product team to make something, it's me! I totally understand where you're coming from and you're right, engineers aren't mind readers, they are just so good at making amazing stuff that sometimes we forget! Would love to hear your thoughts on no-code and even our platform!
David Ferguson
@jdfwarrior @thejeremyredman Personally, no-code isn't my cup of tea. That's not a knock on your platform though, it's just personal preference. I see the role that it can fill for people with limited budget or no coding experience having the ability to produce something that gets them up and running easily without having to have a ton of experience. There are a lot of instances where stuff like that works well. As a developer though, I also see the flip side and feel that no-code is cookie cutter stuff that can't be refined to do EXACTLY what I want. Now, once again, I understand that it isn't for the.. advanced user? It's not marketed at me. So, on that note, what I saw in the video looks good and seems like you put a like of work and thought into it. Nicely done.
Jeremy Redman
@jdfwarrior Thanks, David! That's our whole vision, to get users up and running, testing their idea out with. Once they're ready they can export the source code and find a developer like yourself to build out a more mature version of the product. Thanks for the compliment! We all have definitely been losing sleep over this lol!
Ryan Myher
LOVE IT! Pumped to watch as V/One grows! 😁
Jeremy Redman
@ryan_myher This is just the start!!!! Wait until you see what we have in store!
Jesse
Hi @thejeremyredman , I couldn't find any way to contact you or your support from your website, so asking here. I am interested to jump on the early access paid plan, is this for a single app? Or can we make multiple apps from one account?
Jeremy Redman
@jesse_alvarado Hi Jesse! Sorry about that. You can always use the video chat in the website or email us at support@yourvone.com. With the early access paid plan you get to design and ship one app. If you have any questions, you can email the support email and Keith will help you out OR even better, book a demo with him: bitly.com/keith-vone
Jesse
@yourvone @thejeremyredman Thanks for the fast support! Much appreciated, congrats on the launch and looking forward to seeing V.One grow :)
Jeremy Redman
@jesse_alvarado Thanks Jesse!
Melissa Kwan
Seems like an easy product to use and to get a first version out. Is that the intention of this product? Or is the intention to build an app that can monetize and keep up with customer requests? Being a non-technical cofounder, I certainly wish that I can build things myself but delivering the app is often times just one of many moving parts (on top of back end, subscriptions, email system, security etc.) that require a team of developers to manage. Where do you see this product going and how far do you think it can take non-technical founders?
Jeremy Redman
@melissa_kwan So. our intention is definitely to help founders get a first version of their app live as quickly as possible. That way you can start learning right away what works and what doesn't and begin strategizing how to take the app further. And we basically make it so that you don't have to worry about all those "moving parts." Our aim is that within a year users can push out an app and either make it live on the app store with us OR having tested it out and discovered it to be successful, export the source code from us and hand it to a team of developers. At this point, we will have already helped you monetize (and of course, this will vary depending on your venture) and helped you create an audience and gain insights from your app. We don't really envision users living in our platform for many years (though they are more than welcome to!) Hope that answers your question. If you'd like a demo of the app, you can book a session with Keith and he'll show around: https://bit.ly/vone-keith
Melissa Kwan
@melissa_kwan @thejeremyredman Thank you! That all makes sense. In On Deck Fellowship there are a lot of early founders without technical cofounders that are looking for validation and I think this could be an option for them to start poking around to validate their idea. Are there any examples of apps that have monetized using no-code applications to build? I will share this with a few friends I know that this may be applicable for.
Jeremy Redman
@melissa_kwan Yeah, that sounds great! You can check out Guidance, this is one of our success stories: theguidanceapp.com. For any others questions, you can always reach us here: support(at)yourvone.com. Would love to set up a call and chat soon!
Zeki Dikmen
It's so sad that there is no trial. Currently we have 3 paid apps in glide and the interface is very similar to glide which I like so much. Here is my scenario : Our website is built on Squarespace and we are planning a migration to Webflow anytime soon. I cannot imagine how V.One makes our workflow easier when our migration is completed. But unfortunately I would not pay for one year for a product which I'm not sure that I will use definitely. If there will be a monthly plan for trying I would definitely purchase it.
Jeremy Redman
@zeki_dikmen I totally get it. Make sure you sign up for our waitlist so you can be notified when it's free to try :)
Jeremy Redman
@zeki_dikmen Amazing! See you soon.
Harrison from VC Guide
How do I bookmark this to keep track of this project's progress? This is awesome. Congrats Jeremy.
Jeremy Redman
@vcguidehq Thank you!
Simon Yu
Great job Jeremy & team! An awesome impactful product. Go Green!
Jeremy Redman
@yusimon23 Thank you!!!
Josh Leibovitch
This is a kickass product for my small business clients! Easy to upload new product designs and with push notifications I can keep everyone informed on what the brand is doing and of new product offerings! I’ve shopped around, for the simple apps I need this is the best bang for your buc!
Jeremy Redman
@josh_leibovitch Thanks, Josh!
George Jacklin
I first met Jeremy last year presenting Yourvone at an accelerator in Santa Monica when I had no idea about the no-code movement. If you ever get to meet the guy you can't help but love the mission. Lower the barrier to entry to app development. I ended up working with Jeremy on a couple of apps before they had the builder and it's great to see their continued progress. I've used competitors like glide which have limited benefit with the templates as they are optimized mobile web-app with limited functionality. We're looking to create a beta app for a social impact startup I'm working on and I intend to try out V.one again! Great job Jeremy!
Jeremy Redman
@george_jacklin1 Thank you for your words, George! And thanks for your video. It’s been sooo busy so I couldn’t get back to you earlier. Sorry about that! You know better than most how many great startup ideas and founders there are out there. So we care a lot about our mission to help folks to push their apps out in the wild. Can’t wait to start working with you. Let me know if you need anything! We’re here for you! See you around :)
George Jacklin
@thejeremyredman No worries, I know you must be busy. A few college entrepreneur organisations have reached out to me about helping them with modelling and validating their cohorts consumer ventures. I think there would be synergies with V.one and what we're doing at BornPurpose. I'm actually going to try out the hackathon for the social impact app. Once I've tried it I'll reach out to your via email with initial thoughts (will send a loom video message) and thoughts about the synergies where we can plug V.one into college organisations! Speak soon!
Robert Dougherty
This is awesome! Thanks for the insightful product demo. Your builder looks pretty powerful. I’ll give this a try and will provide some feedback.
Jeremy Redman
@robertdougherty5 Would love to hear your thoughts!
Max Prilutskiy
Nice design!
Jeremy Redman
@prilutskiy Thank you!
Michael Gill
Such a killer product from Jeremy and the team, I'm so excited for this launch! This is just what the no-code game needed and it's exciting to see it all come together. I have no doubt that a lot of first time makers and builders will find their home with V.One. And I have to say X-Ray mode might be the coolest feature ever 😜😎. Congrats @thejeremyredman!
Jeremy Redman
@gill_works Glad to get kudos from no-code royalty like yourself, Mr. Automation King!!!! U[X]-Ray mode is one of the best things to happen to us for sure!!!
Nile
Big fan of V.One! I'm quoted on their website as calling it "the most f***ing beautiful NoCode tool I have ever seen" and for good reason! V.One not only has a gorgeous and easy to use interface of it's own, but it helps you make your own mobile apps beautiful with a super-clever "X-Ray" Mode that gives you tips and tricks on making your app look as good as possible
Jeremy Redman
@nile Thanks Nile!!!!! And thanks for all the love on nocode.tech!
Micha(el) Bladowski
@thejeremyredman let´s say i have a website with an API, that supports LOGIN and making queries... the login is token-based.... is it possible to build an app that support login an user-based data loaded via an external API ?
Jeremy Redman
@michabbb Yeah! As far as APIs are concerned, we can integrate with most :)
Micha(el) Bladowski
@michabbb @thejeremyredman thanks for your feedback. is there any docu out there that gives more detailed infos howto connect my app to my custom API ???
Jeremy Redman
@michabbb Not public docs. The way it works is that we help you do that once you sign up for a paid annual plan. If you have any questions, you can reach out to Keith directly, he handles support: keith@yourvone.com
Brian G. Schuster
Is the access form still closed? I haven't been able to get it submitted.
Jeremy Redman
@bgschust You can get access now if you get on a paid plan or get on the waitlist and be notified when there is a free version of the product.
Brian G. Schuster
@bgschust @thejeremyredman Gotcha, the waitlist should be fine. I just want to be sure I'm on there because I'll be glad to test it out when it's ready.
Jeremy Redman
@bgschust Awesome. If you filled out form, then you are in. Simply dismiss the payment modal when it comes up. You should receive our onboarding emails as confirmation as well.
Brian G. Schuster
@bgschust @thejeremyredman It never happened. I couldn't log in. Never got any emails. It just showed an error at the bottom of the form when I clicked submit and cleared all of my form data. I've probably tried at least 10 times.
Keith Misael Tovar
@bgschust @thejeremyredman Hi Brian! Keith here with v.one support. I'm so sorry about this experience!If you're ready to sign up for an account, you can head over here: make.yourvone.com/start - or you could send me a screenshot of this error you are seeing. Send it to support(at)yourvone.com.
Eve Weinberg
I hate to be negative, but I gave this a whirl and it was not even close to being ready to deliver the value in the demo and on the website. And even more upsetting, just after trying it for a few days and asking for my money back (i think it was around $90!!) they said no. They refused to give a refund bc it's in their policy when you sign up, so I get that. I just think it's not the sign of great software. Confident designers and builders should give money back guarantee within a small window, imo, if the tool does not meet expectation.
Jeremy Redman
@eve_weinberg Hi Eve! Thanks for the feedback. I’m sorry that we didn’t meet your expectations. Would looove to know more specifically the value you were expecting to see. We’ve already added a ton of stuff in the last week alone. You can email me or shoot me a DM. I’m really interested in what you have to say.
Arthur Bostic
Looks pretty simple to use and has a great UI. I am curious to give this a try.
Jeremy Redman
@arthurbostic Awesome! You can sign up using the request access form. From there you can get on a paid plan now or get in the waitlist to try it out for free. Let me know if you have any questions!
