Hey, this is Oliver, developer, entrepreneur and passionate hobby photographer. It makes me so happy to see the Unleashed '22 here on Producthunt! Back in 2006 I started a fun side project to finally have a practical solution to geotag my travel photos. When I wrote about it in photo forums, so many people asked to get one of my devices, that I founded foolography. A few years later, we launched our first Kickstarter campaign for the Unleashed '18 for Nikon and Canon, which could do so much more than just geotagging! Now, after several years of continuing improvements, we have launched a Kickstarter campaign for the new Unleashed '22 for Sony, Fujifilm Panasonic/Lumix, Canon and Nikon cameras. It has features for everyone, but if you're into landscape, travel, night or astrophotography or timelapses I think this might just be the perfect tool for you. These are the core functions: • Remote triggering, e.g. for tripod shots and family photos • Video recording, even with multiple cameras • Changing settings from our app, without touching the camera • Direct in-camera geotagging • Long exposures of up to 4.5 hours • Timelapses made easy, even advanced "holy grail" day-to-night transitions • HDR bracketing • Focus bracketing • Gallery with high resolution photo review • Photo sharing right from the app Thanks to Bluetooth Low Energy, initial pairing takes less than 10 seconds and reconnection is almost instant when you turn on the camera or open the app. It only uses a minimal amount of power from your camera battery, so you don't need to charge it, and it's always ready when you need it! Our beautiful app is just the user interface for the Unleashed, whereas the brains are in the tiny device itself. This means it will keep controlling the camera to finish your shot, even if you close the app, you walk out of range or your phone battery dies.
