Wondering if someone with no programming knowledge in the age of AI can create an app in Flutter? Me too, so I took the plunge. Designer with maximum knowledge of html, css and time for long communication with Chat GPT. It went pretty smoothly, the hardest part was installing Flutter SDK, running the emulator and setting everything up to work for me. I then described to the AI what I wanted to achieve, and how it should work. I backed it all up with a screen design from Figma that can read GPT without any problems. When something didn't work, all I had to do was screen the error in the console and the chat code modified. Occasionally it happened that he forgot about a change we made a few steps back, and so the old bug was repeated in the new code. Nothing that another chat wouldn't fix. Long story short, I'm impressed with what Chat GPT can do in this regard and I think there will be more apps in the stores than ever before.
 📏 Oh, and try that app for travelers to convert units from imperial to metric and vice versa and let me know what you think.

Hat off – if you created this solely with the help of ChatGPT, this can encourage more people to create their own apps. You are a good example! Regarding the app: I installed it and tested. The design is pleasing to the eye – probably the subtle orange-purple gradient does it. Nothing complicated for UX, and the overall impression – is great. @busmark_w_nika Thanks, Nika, I was really pleasantly surprised at how well ChatGPT worked, a little bit of a hitch here and there, but by the end of the weekend I had exactly what I wanted. Thanks for the tip on the next project, I already know I'll be testing this collaboration again with my next idea. Měj se a ať se daří :)

Does Unitmate handle niche conversions like scientific or engineering measurements?

@mukesh_kumar_das No, it's built for travelers. So it contains the units they'll encounter most often. Temperature: fahrenheit (°F) ↔ Celsius (°C) Distance: miles (mi) ↔ kilometers (km), feet (ft) ↔ meters (m) Weight: pounds (lb) ↔ kilograms (kg), ounces (oz) ↔ grams (g), gallons (gal) ↔ liters (l)

@brady_wilfahrt We implemented the most common units so far. From ancient units we have feet. You're the second person to ask this, so I'll give it some thought.
