Timezone during the launch day: how do you manage it?🌍

During today's launch, I realized how complicated is to manage different timezones. I tried to keep that in mind when I was contacting different people. But it's definitely very complicated. Do you have any strategy for it?

One effective strategy is to use scheduling tools that automatically adjust for time zones, ensuring that everyone receives notifications at the correct local time. It's also helpful to have a clear understanding of your team's and audience's geographical distribution to plan your communication around peak hours in their respective time zones.

@xyz_333 More Tools need the ability to enter a timestamp in a conversation so everyone sees the appropriate time :)

We use a centralized scheduling tool that automatically adjusts for time zones, ensuring we reach out at appropriate times, and we make sure to schedule our most critical updates when the majority of our audience is awake, even if it means working odd hours ourselves. It's all about finding that sweet spot where the majority can engage, and being flexible with our own schedule.
Managing time zones during a launch can indeed be tricky, Alessio. I've found scheduling tools like World Time Buddy invaluable for planning interactions, and I always set calendar reminders in the local time of the person I'm contacting to avoid any mix-ups.

You will laugh but what we did is just leveraged our network and used kind of "shifts" to cover this as yeah - we are also not distributed yet all over the world :) + Telegram/WhatsApp or other PH communities help too - and how we organized it? Do not ask: #spreadsheets+calender ^^

@alessio_mavica tru - still you can be may creative with ur network/partners : may some reach you a hand but yeah - only one thing you can really do then if you are alone: Define processes and automate the hell out of it💁🏼

@justecdev @elena_malneva exactly! I think Europe is the best place to launch for that reason: it's 9:01 in central Europe.

We have a remote team who live in different time zones and here are some suggestions that we utilize in the company ourselves; 1. Employees should be aware who in their team lives in a different time zone so they are mindful of the time differences, thus their working hours. 2. We encourage everyone to insert in their calendars their working hours to increase the transparency within the teams. 3. Even though the company's policy is to have the meetings from 9am to 6pm CET time, we can be quite flexible with the hours. However, we record every company meeting for those who are not able to attend.
