💡How do you know it’s time to pivot?

I love the culture of launching quickly and often on PH. However, I’m curious to see how builders decide to keep getting user feedback and continuing to launch versus calling it quits and trying a completely new idea/solution.

If my product doesn’t get paid users in 6 months I need to pivot. I will need to figure out why they are not converting and try something else.

Once you have data to reject your hypothesis. When you build your product you should have a good idea of the problem it aims to solve. If you have a few paying customers, interview them and see how they use your product. If they use your product to solve another problem than what you have in mind, it might be time to pivot. If you have no paying customers, try to interview some people matching your ideal customer profile. Do those face the problem you have in mind? If yes, do they understand the messaging on your product? If not it is time to pivot.

I’d set KPIs and if they aren’t performing as per my goals, then it’d be time to pivot.
