How do you find interviewers for hiring your team

My team is pretty small and I want to hire some experts on the team. I'm wondering if others have any pointers on how you go about finding interviewers to properly vet the candidates before hiring them if you don't have those skills in-house?

Ask them questions about a hypothetical situation. How would they handle it, and what would they do step by step. That will give you more info rather than just hearing from them telling that they're experienced with X or Y.

Try the STAR method! It's super helpful for interviews. If you want to go the extra mile, make sure you have a job description beforehand for those experts you want to onboard to the team. It will help you set the expectations for the role and provide a guide to ask questions and validate the fit!
