Do you feel like Paul Graham’s advice still applies in 2020?

Hi, I just launched a visual collection of his essays done over several years. https://www.producthunt.com/post... Do you guys still read them? I’ve been reading Paul Graham’s essays since 2010. Quit my job and started side project, which then became a product which I’m selling now. So I never ended up doing a startup the way, Paul Graham describes. Are most startups still done the outside funding PG sort of way or are more people generating a profit early and funding the company with it?
