I get that it's faster to read using this method but somehow to me it ends up sounding like a robotic inner monologue while I'm reading it. Maybe it's just practice but the flow of reading is lost to me.

Hello @rueter I've purchased the Pro version but I see that the styles applied on the phone doesn't apply to the apple watch making the watch app useless (that was what I was most interested in). The text is very small and there is no letter highlight. How can I fix that? Or how can I get a refund? Thanks

It is working well, I like that thinking about something else while reading is much harder, since there comes one word after the other, and I don't want to miss one, of course. The (browser) extension is very important for the user experience of this app, since nobody wants to copy long texts manually. The problem was, the articles I've sent to the app via the extension (Pro version) all began with the site's privacy policy. Maybe you can find a solution for that. The UI is radical, pure black, pure white. It's not friendly, maybe some other dark colors make the app more appealing. Also, I would increase the size of the text field a bit, and I would like to select single words by tapping on them in addition to just skipping. The onboarding was poor, I didn't even understand it was one before the simulation has ended. I was like why do the buttons don't work?! I didn't test on Apple Watch yet, I can imagine how cool the app is on it.

I wish this worked, but every time I try this technique, I fail to remember most of what I "read". That, plus the "robot" inner monologul like someone else mentioned, plus the fact that I have to think of when I'm about to blink and stop the app, which means I'll get distracted. Overall feels forced unfortunately.

Even with the IAP the app can’t get the text from 9/10 pages via the share sheet, even Apple News, as advertised. Always stuck at Loading...

After 1.5 chapters of a Kindle book I got message informing I had hit max copy limit. Tried a couple of other things but can’t seem to be able to trick Kindle into letting me continue. Any hints? Also - would it be feasible to make the punctuation pause a user-setting ... I would prefer longer pauses after a period, and a little more yet at end of a paragraph.

Everytime when a "-" or a "—" in comination with a "," or a ";" appears on the same section, the autoplay stops. Is this maybe a bug?

thank you for making this wonderful application! As somebody who also makes high frame rate programs, I can tell the depth and detail you put in! It is so smooth! I am looking forward to using it hopefully ten hours a day! :) I purchased pro so that I could access the full set of features, specifically the ability to import pdf. I read many pdf documents already on my iPad and would love to be able to access the power of spdr while doing so! After successfully importing a pdf, I hit a snag which makes it so I am having a hard time using spdr. I was wondering if you could help me! It seems like it may be a minor code fix on your end, but would dramatically improve my ability to enjoy spdr! The documents I read have many long words, intermixed with short words. I find that I can’t register the long words properly at the word rate I am most comfortable with. They flash on the screen for too short of a time! I have to continuously go back to check what they were. Would you consider adding a toggle that lets us scale the speed for each word by word length? I would love to be able to adjust this behavior to make long words show up for longer than short words. What do you think? Is this something you would add and release? I am hopeful you say yes, because truly, every other thing about spdr makes me want to use it ten hours a day. I just can’t use it if I don’t have enough time to read the long words! Slowing the whole thing down makes the short words go way slower than I can process, and I feel I am not getting the speed benefit as acutely! Thank you! I’ll leave this message in the App Store too! I am having trouble adding iBooks to the app. The link appears in the options, however it opens a page to purchase the book. It does not allow me to open the book in the SPBR app. Excited to use the product! Is there an online guide? Thanks for your help in advance.

The App glitches in my Apple Watch. I’ve saved some articles in my phone and in the watch only appears one, and when I try to read it, it closes when I press in the screen that says press&hold. What can u do?

I really wanted to like this app, but I have been up able to load epubs without the app crashing or just giving up. Is there any way to request a refund? Apple refused my request. Thank you.

Currently crashes when opening an ePub from DROPBOX. Doesn’t “open in” when exporting an ePub from files or Dropbox on iPhone xsmax.

I cannot load any of my books from the Books App on my iPhone into Spdr. Whenever I try, only a short synopsis of the title appears instead of any actual text from the book itself. Please tell me how to import a book into Spdr other than by photographing every single page, which is ridiculous.

Super intrigued by the idea of using this on the watch. Has anyone given it a try?
