Can personally verify the other comments. I'm on top of my game but this proved me wrong. I'm now knocking out extensive to-do lists in less than half the time. I'm literally looking for other things to get done at this point and it's an amazing feeling. This is especially useful on days when you lack motivation. Just get started with a single cycle. Once completed, try another. By the end of it you'll have more energy, have made more progress than you could have imagined and will be done.

Hi all, I’m one of the founders at Ultraworking. We’ve got a lot of people in really demanding fields on TWG — lots of programmers, lots of business owners, attorneys, a few medical doctors including a Professor of Medicine, a wide range of creatives, PhD students, engineers, inventors, etc. Basically, we distilled a bunch of the known best practices for peak performance that most people don’t actually do into a beautiful lightweight interface — and then we mix in social accountability via videoconferencing with a skilled moderator of a session keeping everyone on-track and focused during short scheduled review periods. It works really, really well. We’ve got dozens of pages of reviews and testimonials like these — "I was pleasantly surprised with my performance — at least 3x more productive than normal. I’ve read about productivity best practices and implemented some of them before, but you have to try something like this to really experience the benefits.” — Neil Taylor, Commercial Director at Mobedia; London, UK ”The biggest thing I realized is that when I focused during Work Cycles, I can get a workday done in 3 hours... By getting the work done in disciplined cycles, that then frees me up to work on bigger things, as well as showing me where I was wasting time in the past.” — Glennn Holman, Consultant; Dallas, Texas Here’s real, unedited live chat feedback from two sessions in the last week alone — “I've been putting this off for three weeks and there's no way I would have done it if not on cycles.“ — Business Owner “After an emotionally/energetically challenging weekend, this was really good structure to lean on to actually get things done. I wouldn't have worked today if it weren't for TWG. Work Cycles are always good. Need to schedule Cycles at least 3 out of 5 days a week (have these overlap with TWG as much as possible). Yay for TWG!” — Systems/Automation Expert (And those are both highly effective people!) Basically, if you’ve got hard work to do, we’re here to help you get it done a lot faster. Having the right lightweight structure for staying on track + being with a group of very smart and exceptional people? It’s like magic for getting work done faster and more enjoyably. If you’ve got any questions, I’ll be around on-and-off for the next 10-12 hours or so, and then back on tomorrow. Let me know if you’ve got any questions, and hope to get some great work in with you. Salut and huzzah, Sebastian

This is the best GTD or productivity tools I have ever used. Have been using Ultraworking since beginning of 2018, and it has been a game-changer for my business.
Sabastian Hunt
Sounds pretty cool. Any white paper on your method?
Sebastian Marshall
@sabastian_hunt Thanks. The basics are all here — http://ultraworking.com/cycles — but of course the best way to learn how it works is to try it out live.

I have done the Ultraworking Pentalathon about 5 times over the last 18 months - amazing productivity results. I have published two books using it. And did a major website overhaul in another. Tasks I had been putting off for years got completed . Love it

Pros:

Better focus on your Most Important Work

Cons:

Following the structure if structure is not your thing

Mihai Stroe

I've been using Work Cycles for quite some time now and for most job related tasks i've been getting 50-75% more work done, because I always know what's next without getting sidetracked by useless minutiae.

Overall, great product from the Ultraworking team. I am excited to see how this further develops.

Pros:

Incredible tool to keep you focused and productive. Definitely would recommend to anyone with demanding responsibilities.

Cons:

Wish they would have released this years ago.

Christopher Beymer

Over the course of using Work Cycles I've seen my personal productivity jump 100-300%. Behind the scenes it trains your focus, work estimation, and overall execution on any work you have. I've been using it almost daily for over 2 years and haven't seen any other system or style come close to this in terms of getting stuff done. Highly recommend!

Pros:

Tech backed focus on your work

Cons:

Nothing really

Justine Pattantyus

Although I'm a new member of The Work Gym, I've been using Work Cycles for about a year now.

When I use Work Cycles, without fail, I get more done. This structure works and is well tested and proven.

Even as a very productive person, when I use Work Cycles I increase my ability to be productive by 1.5-2x on average days and as much as 3-4x if I'm really in the zone.

If you like being in a community dedicated to excellence and want to maximize your productivity and do this consistently, The Work Gym is for you.

Pros:

Awesome tech + really effective structure = be uber productive consistently

Cons:

No cons from my experience

Mony Chhim

I'm a disciplined and organized person... yet when I switched to the work cycles process my productivity was enhanced by 300%. I highly recommend this product.

Pros:

300% productivity improvement

Cons:

Not any

I've been using work cycles for over a year, so when the The Work Gym launched I was like SIGN ME UP/TAKE MY MONEY. And that's really saying something, cause I'm on the shoe string ramen eating student budget currently.

But here is the deal, when something works, it WORKS. So I can sling my cash towards something that gets me roughly 200 to 500 percent more effective with the time I do have, or continue to muddle through with out the hyper focus.

Like I'm no slouch, I can get stuff done, but HOOOOOOOOO BOY, not like this.

So I've challenged myself to attend 3-5 TWGs a week, and am using them to focus on digital products. Revisions on previous courses, adding new creative content, whatever. A good example of how it impacted my effectiveness was last week when I spent a cycle and half screwing around with a digital storyboard and shot list program before I looked at what a waste if time it was (for me) and grabbed a blank spiral bound notebook, sketched out what I needed old school and kept rolling. In the past that would of killed my momentum, and the project would of dropped for another six months while I went on to something else.

NO TODAY SATAN. I made a decision, rerouted, and avoided a stall.

I love this product, it has brought new life to the things I always wanted to get done (I'm looking at you, notebook pile of good ideas/Evernotes of mass ambition) and in general the peeps/co workers are good company.

I will say that the lawyers, gamers, coders and people learning Greek can put me in the Sesame Street game of "Which of these doesn't belong," but maybe you are a right brain creative also and want to focus on getting your goods to the people? Come on in, the waters fine. I'm the redhead wearing the dj/kitty ear headphones.

See you soon. xoxo Rowan

Pros:

Gets You Focused AF, Momentum is Created with Like Minded Peers, The Joy of Crossing Shiz off your LIST

Cons:

none really, mostly right brained people so sometimes I feel like a fish out of water but its good for me.

Lorenzo Swank (박재민)
Look, this is probably the best thing ever. You should just sign up. Just don't get into a competition with Lee Knowlton.

I've been working on the Ultraworking pentalatlon for over a year now, improving my work practices and achieving awesome work in that time. It's not just the accountability you get from the work-gym, it's tips on how to better organise your thinking, breaking down big tasks, estimation, achieving deeper clarity on the work - all of which leads to better work quality AND quantity.

Pros:

Great shot of productivity and focus on weekly sprints

Cons:

None!

Greg Nance 🇺🇸

Huge fan of the team at Ultraworking. Onward!

Pros:

TWG helps me get and stay laser-focused!

Cons:

Can be hard to align schedules. But a tiny hassle for a big ROI!

Cyrus Murphy

The accountability and feedback is palpable, especially when the moderator reviews your cycle notes. I'm mostly on my own with work which is great, but a little bit of structure from this is beneficial

Pros:

Helps you devote time and barrel through those important but not urgent things

Cons:

Not enough sessions available YET. They're increasing them slowly

Mike Allen

The Work Gym is an amazingly good way to get not just MORE stuff done, but also BIG stuff done in a shorter time than you may have ever imagined. This has certainly been my experience. The combination of (1) being so intentional about what you will produce in the next few "work cycles" - the specific objectives, the time boundaries, minimising potential distractions - and (2) having likeminded, or should I say like-focused, people working virtually alongside you is a most potent combination. There are no genuine downsides I can articulate, other than perhaps the limited scheduled time slots available for Australia, but this is improving. Let me say that even the few hours available during the AEST working week makes a real difference. If you *can* or do work outside the Mon-Fri 9-5, then bonus! This is an easy recommendation: Yes. It's worth your while to try.

Pros:

Remarkably good way to get more stuff done than ever before

Cons:

Time slots are not so optimised for Australia and Asia
