Still Standing After Three Weeks

Hi everyone,

Thanks for stopping by. I just wanted to take a moment to celebrate something small but meaningful — we’re still live, the app is still running in the cloud, and we're not out of hope yet.

Looking back, most of the solo projects I’ve built in the past didn’t make it more than a few days post-launch. It’s always hard to keep pushing when there’s not much of a crowd. Typewriting still doesn’t have a big audience, but the support we got from Product Hunt has been a big motivator — it keeps me coming back to my code, working on performance, and improving little by little.

I’m especially grateful because new visitors still show up regularly, and sign-ups happen here and there — even though I haven't done much outreach yet. I'm slowly working on it, with nothing more than my hands and time. It’s tough, and as any solo dev knows, the temptation to jump into a new idea is real — especially just to avoid talking about the same one every day. But I’m still here, building.

By the way, is anyone in Paris today? Viva Technology — one of the biggest tech conferences in Europe — just opened its doors! I'm excited to be there, exhibiting with our friends at Oyolloo, an awesome creative agency from Bangladesh.

If you're around, look for the "Bangladesh 2.0" booth and come say hi! I’d love to meet you — and if you're up for it, we can even try out some hidden gems from Typewriting together.

See you around, and happy building!

Keep pushing! Don't jump to the new ideas too fast =) What you are using for promotion? Few days is really not a lot of time to check if the product is in demand

@nikita_polovinkin Thanks, it's the continuous struggle I am dealing with. Almost doing nothing regarding promotion, still don't know where to start. Mostly talking to people, finding more use cases and testing-improvements recursively. Also, twitter seems a good place to connect more people.
