@mijustin I'm not a podcaster myself, but as a consumer I love this. It happens many times that I listened to something interesting and I would like to look it up again. Podcasts having a transcript is awesome for that.

Congrats on shipping the new transcription feature! The implementation looks so clean and easy to use. Neat how speaker attribution can be detected on subsequent transcriptions too.
As a user of Transistor.fm for hosting my Podcasts, I can say this is an excellent addition to the service. I tried it out and with my mixed British/Texan accent it still nailed transcribing every thing I said along with my guest. It also accurately identified each speaker throughout the podcast.
Well done! The price is also very reasonable.

@supremerumham yes. We include these in the RSS feed as well, so apps that support it (like Apple Podcasts) will display them.

I've been a Transistor customer since the very beginning, and it's my #1 recommendation when someone asks me where they should host their show.

Instead, they use first principles thinking, starting with whether or not this feature will actually serve the needs of THEIR customers. If the answer is yes, they spend a significant amount of time planning out the BEST way to implement the feature, not just the fastest or most cost efficient.
When Transistor launches something new, you can rest assured that it has been put through multiple quality filters and will work well from day one. And if anything does seem out of sorts, their customer support has always been incredibly responsive and kind.
