Toby for Teams — Better bookmarks, now with collaboration baked in 🔖

Great update. Might replace PH on my new tab and that's a big thing! ;) A few things I have noted while testing: - the invite banner is annoying and spammy - I will use the team feature just for myself because it gives me the ability to create sub-spaces per topic. will you allow sub-spaces in the main "my collections" ? Way more practical than using tags. - will you give the possibility to save a session directly in a collection? - drag and drop from the right column to a collection is not 100% reliable

This is by far one of the best bookmarks organizing tool ever. Even if you *remove* bookmarks it still is the best organizing tool. Love it. <3

We've had the chance to beta test this feature with 20 other companies including IBM, Twitter, New Relic Bazaarvoice, and more. The team's experience allows you to share knowledge or assets that are commonly used by everyone on the team. That could be brand guidelines, sales enablement docs, or even npm library packages. The power comes when all of your team is on Toby. Every new tab will allow them to access resources immediately rather than using search on 5 different products. To create an organization just click the "+" right beside "My Collections". Sadly appears to have been abandoned?!? You can sign up and use it still but you can't invite others and there is no response from support for anything. Bummer. Someone should clone this, I guess

Toby is just about a dream app for me so it is quite exciting knowing if I ever try to enter the startup world, I can keep using this :)

Loving Toby. They are my go-to new tab page and now even bookmark manager. I can see the usefulness for project management with teams too. Even pushed it out to a couple clients and they too love it. One of my all-time favorite chrome extensions bar-none.

Pros:

Helps with my tab addiction and improves upon what feels like a now antiquated "browser bookmarks"

Cons:

Make it easier to rearrage collections possibly by alphabetical/most used/manual. With manual, allow dragging down to the bottom easier.

Toby is a great tool and definitely a need, for years I have used tons of apps like this but none of them was useful as toby. This new feature is really dope, congrats guys!

I love Toby, but where is the iOS app and cloud sync?? O.o

Toby has become one of the "select" and "essential" extensions on in my browser and that's saying a lot for me. Apart from Lastpass, and Raindrop.io, I don't consider nor use many other extensions in my browser but Toby has become a must and most will agree after using it. Keep up the great work guys, I'm really looking forward to your mobile app, that will be the icing on the Toby cake.

The Toby folk seem close at hand, eager to understand the issue and fix it or show me how to do what I'm missing.

Works as advertised. I use it to collect bookmarks related to projects and to personal interests.

Really loved it in Chrome. With new Firefox I really wish there was a Lite version for it as well. Any plans to do it?

Great tool and i love it so far, but is there an option to disable the "new tab" feature?

Big fan of the collections and being able to sort my tabs by topic.

Pros:

No frills required! I can share links and context with my team without any extra work or tools.

Cons:

Notifications aren't very helpful, would be nice if they drew attention to the new tab.

The team behind it is super friendly and pro-active in making Toby better!

It's really helpful way to share links with co-workers, we do it often to share resources for each step of the project and is super helpful
