What if countdowns weren’t circles? Meet Timix Poly Timers

Today while chatting with a friend, I had a spark:

“What if each countdown was a shape — a triangle, square, or hexagon — instead of a circle?”

He instantly replied,

“That makes way more sense. Shapes are easier to see where you are in time.”

So I built a quick prototype. In Timix, each side of the polygon is a timer.

You can visualize time as motion around a shape — and honestly, it feels more intuitive.

✨ It’s still experimental, but I’m curious…

👉 Would a shape-based countdown help you stay more aware of your time?

👉 Would it make timer-based routines (like pomodoros, workouts, or rituals) feel clearer?

Check the gif and let me know what you think! 🙌

Always building with curiosity.

Soon will be available on Beta!

How does it differentiate from the timers that are already on the market, or even the default clock app? Just corious, no hate. I appreciate you're effort.

@cristian_stoian_urzica it’s got 12 custom triggers that can be combined and performed when a timer has started or ended and more. Please have a look on the website. Thank you!
