I built Timix because I rely on timers daily, and I was frustrated by how limited the default ones felt. They couldn’t speak, trigger actions, or adapt to the way I live. So I set out to create something better—a modern timer that’s simple on the surface but powerful underneath.

What makes Timix unique is its flexibility. It has 12 customizable triggers—like audio, speech, countdowns, HomeKit, and more—that can be combined however you need. It works seamlessly across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, with support for Siri, Shortcuts, widgets, and even a custom GPT to help you build routines.

But what I’m most proud of is that Timix is free, ad-free, and built with care for accessibility. I’ve made sure it works for everyone, including those who use VoiceOver or need extra support. I truly believe that small tools like Timix can help people be more present, focused, and kind to their time. That’s why I made it—and why I’m sharing it with the world.

One thing that could help is a simple visual cue when a timer is running.

Igor Bidiniuc

@masump That’s a great suggestion — thank you!

I actually added support for Live Activities, which shows a clear visual cue while a timer is running, even on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. Also, the app icon shows a badge with the number of active timers.

If there’s another kind of visual cue you had in mind, I’d love to hear it!

Timix sounds like the ultimate timer app! The ability to have 12 customizable triggers and integrate with Siri, Shortcuts, and HomeKit makes it incredibly versatile. I love that it’s designed to adapt to how you live rather than forcing you into a rigid setup. Can you set multiple timers simultaneously for different tasks, or do they run on a single instance at a time?

Igor Bidiniuc
@evgenii_zaitsev1 it runs, infinitely parallel timers. In regards to homekit please download to latest Beta. The public update is waiting for review. Have fun!

Timix sounds great—love the focus on flexibility and accessibility! How does the custom GPT help users build routines?

Igor Bidiniuc
Thanks @parth_ahir! 🙌 Timix has a feature called Timix templates to help represent your routines. I trained TimixGPT to generate these templates for you—based on your needs, it creates a file you can import into the app on any device. Super handy for getting started or creating repeatable routines quickly!
