@rustam_mirzakhmedov These apps prompt the user to practice meditation. Our app teaches users to practice cognitive behavioral therapy.
Our competitors are other applications. For example - InnerHour, MindDoc. Where the user can get information about cognitive-pepedental therapy in a convenient way. Therefore, our task is to make it more convenient for the user to choose us.
Color scheme looks nice @maxim_volodin
you should totally add API to pull in work & social notifications and have them disabled when it's time for another session in your app :)
Looks very interesting, actually. I'm used to use some application for meditation for the same reasons. It's exciting to try some new way.
And I really like the design of the app, pretty calm and clean.
Wish you luck!
@kirllstruk We already have licensed therapist in our team, CBT-certified - she is the one, who put the course together. So we are quite sure in the quality of our information
Hey there Product Hunt community!
My name is Max and I am the CEO of Therappy.
It’s an app I thought of when the COVID craze set in a year ago. The degree of uncertainty, sudden isolation and incessant ZOOMing left my team and I struggling with anxiety and depression.
OK, I know that the answer to all of those conditions is psychotherapy. I actually have a therapist that I go to regularly and find her wonderful. But how many people can actually afford regular therapy?
That’s when I thought about affordable psychological support. A service that would be available 24/7. that would contain solid self-help information one could turn to when the anxiety kicked in. That’s when I decided to develop Therappy.
The idea behind the app is to build a digital supplement for the therapist visits, or maybe even replace talk-therapy altogether. This is where I need your help – please, have a look at our first anti-anxiety course, and give me your feedback (however positive or negative it may be).
What do you think about this idea? Do you think it could work?
Should we start growing the content in the app, reaching out to some other problems?
Eagerly awaiting your feedback,
Max
P.S. I’m aware that an app like this is NOT suitable for people with clinical depression, suicidal ideation, or any other serious psychological or psychiatric conditions. Yes - people with serious conditions should consult a specialist.
Fantastic app! I've listened to the first course like a podcast every morning and it is really useful in my everyday routine with all this stress and information traffic. Good job guys! Looking for more courses😉
This seems really interesting. As the platform grows, will you allow people to somehow choose a specific therapist since you only have one right now, or is it mainly going to focus on letting that one therapist create a bunch of courses and only allowing the audience to choose a course from that therapist? Love the overall concept though and I'm excited to see where this goes!
@akarsh_jha We planned to create courses from one therapist. But as we developed, we realized that we needed to invite a lot of specialists. This will greatly increase the amount of content and help with promotion.
Read in the comments that more products are coming...
Keep going guys! This is a subject of immediate relevance. I think that this app could help a lot of people who are struggling with mild mental issues... but who isn't really nowadays?
