With an intuitive header builder, 100+ pre-designed sites, a LOT of WooCoomerce modules, global colors & a way to share saved templates across sites, Neve is a great choice for beginners & freelancers/agency owners alike.
Why should you pay attention to another WordPress theme?
We’re trying to do few things differently than your average theme:
1. First of all we don’t look at Neve and the plugins around it as a theme for WordPress, for us the end goal is to enable freelancers & agencies to get as many people as possible online, by quickly creating a website of choice that is fast & beautiful. Today is through WordPress with the help of a theme and some plugins, tomorrow might be something else. Looking at things this way means we’re thinking a bit outside the box (e.g we’ll release this month a logo maker, or we just release the template cloud feature that allows you to save sections/pages and re-use them across multiple sites easily).
2. We are doing solid QA work, there is manual QA testing, PHP unit-tests, E2E tests and we do have performance budgets & visual regression as well. Why this matter? All of this helps us to quickly iterate in a way that the next update won’t break your site easily.
3. Speed & AMP. We do have automatic tests to make sure the theme stays the fastest one with or without page builders & the theme looks the same no matter if a page is AMP or not. Even the main demo site, it’s AMP friendly, which means that you can have AMP native on your site.
Of course, there are 100+ starter sites that are ready-made for 5-page builders, intuitive settings for things that matter, header & footer builder, conditional headers, global colors & more.
@sharlsz Hey! Working on it since 2 years, various people contributed, as an average I would say 5 people team( dev, product, qa, support). The team is distributed :).
