I think by watching the process of how someone made his creation you learn way more than just seeing the code and trying to figure out how everything works.

Great resource to supplement learning with books or vid courses! Didn't really "get it" until I watched one of the videos

That's great! One of the things I always do is sitting beside some friend who works in a totally different thing than I and ask him if I can watch him work. I always learn a lot with that.
