@ryanheybourn this is absolutely cool Ryan. Me like a sideproject fanatic I'm always looking for people who can send feedback or become beta testers so now with your platform it can be much easier to find these people.

@ryanheybourn one that can be used is a cron job to a text file and include that text file instead of the direct call every load. Set the cron for every few minutes and you should be good 😊

I've been helping Ryan beta test Scrum for a while and I can only say that this is one of the most exciting products I've been able be in some way a part of. Scrum allows you to connect with people of interest and customers through all of the stages of development. It's a great way to stay up to date and become a part of great products even before they're publicly available. I really do recommend playing around with it!

Great product 👌🏻 - Super simple and intuitive to use. By posting my side project using Scrum it will hold me accountable for committing the build the product. Could be a great tool in the future to connect with like-minded creators, looking forward to using this more!

Had a similar idea myself a couple of months back probably for similar reasons so glad something like this got built. Will check it out today 👍

This is sweet. Building a side project is such a lonely task. Looking forward to take it for a spin

Gave it a try! Its brilliant, would love to share my two side projects soon, it will help me to stick to my commitment for finishing it asap. :) Thanks for creating this helpful Webapp.

Nice one, clean. Nice product as per the thought-fullness. I liked the resemblance to ProductHunt in terms of the Emoji game and notification on top.

Great idea! One feature request (and quasi recommendation). The promise you make is that users will get progress information (operative word being progress) of projects. When I hit the site, I'm more or less greeted by a list of side projects (has been done before), but nothing about progress. I think there would be incredible value, more so then what's currently available now on the site, to allow makers to capture (to a degree they wish, so could be "lite", could be detailed), the actual progress. I see you have twitter integration, so maybe you can have progress tracking by allowing some basic hashtag (just spitballing here, but like #scrumprogress15%, or some other milestone tracking). Also, some sort of automated progress tracking visible to the public via trello integration. **edit - nevermind *** Just signed up and realized this is a paid service. "up to 1 month to be approved to be listed" wouldn't make sense to track actual progress since so much progress would actually be missed. So in a nutshell, this is more like a paid ad for more visibility into your projects.

Great product you've got. it's impressively simple and show a well thought out desire to carry the user throughout each interaction point. However, I feel maybe you could work on the linking. Please do this in a way that allows me to check a product while still on the Scrum page. If you may need more evaluation, I'll be willing to offer help. Thanks for this Product.

Nice idea - should also be tagged "Productivity" :)

But why does it need so much information from my Twitter account?

Great idea!

Hi, Ryan! I've submitted my side project and it seems that my number in queue is a random thing—it changes in both ways while I'm refreshing a page. I am talking about this URL: https://www.startupbutton.com/su... (it is also works without submitting my startup—how it knows my number in queue then?)
Ali Mahdi
@fedosov They probably generate the queue number randomly to incentivize you to buy the featured package. Not a right thing to do tho.

This looks great! Opportunities to get to know other people who are building things is always nice. I'm joining!
