The Data Poets is a multiplayer platform where images of places are transformed into machine-poems. Folks can share and discuss their experiences, emotions and perspectives on urban spaces through these poetic interpretations.
I just launched this new AI platform (a web based version of an older project of mine) - it makes poems about places based on Machine-Vision. It's a an experiment around perception and interpretation of space vs. data-based narratives.
Keen for feedback and insight from web-savvy folks. It's based on the OpenAI API with some behind the scenes magic to generate a wider variation of poem styles and tones.
Currently it only generates poems based on images but I want to play around with sound analysis too.
I'm also considering adding features like a map or filtering poems by location to help you find "hot poems near you".
