Hey product bros! I've been working on The Brodown for a little while now - Was a crazy surprise to wake up to an email from PH this morning (Thanks for the hunt, @andyfortson ). The Brodown is a daily email digest for those who don't have time to keep up with the news. Each email includes a brief summary of the top headlines each day, as well as a few conversation starters. Feel free to fire away with any questions / feedback!

The Skimm for Men? I'm already subbed to The Skimm (and have been for a ~10 months), why should I give The Brodown a chance? @anderskravis
Anders Kravis
@thomasmeagher - I would say that the voice and content of The Brodown caters more to our audience of millennial guys (much like how The Skimm skews slightly towards women). We also aim to keep things a bit more brief in the mornings. ...Sign up and give us a chance to duke it out in your inbox?

I didn't even know there was an earthquake that centered in my neighborhood last week. Brogramming too hard. Would be good to know about this kinda stuff. Help a bro out. I signed up, better be good bro!

You guys had me at "Pablo Picassbro". Well done.
Anders Kravis
@irvingtorresyc Thanks! Was a fan of that one myself

Does the news vary based on the region or is it the same?
Andy Fortson
@ahmedzain66 Super early stages so I think it's all the same. But I'm not part of the company and I don't know them so I'm not really sure what their plans are.
Anders Kravis
@ahmedzain66 News is all the same (right now), but trying to present a fairly global range rather than just US-centric. @andyfortson is correct in saying we're still in our early days :)

Hey @anderskravis ! The design looks neat. How do you plan on differentiating from your "competitors" ? As of now, I'm reading the Quartz (http://qz.com/) newsletter everyday of the week and I'm very satifsfied with it. Doesn't mean I'm not open to changing my daily routine though... Have a great day, bro :) EDIT : Just noticed the little feature at the end that allows subscribers to rate the email of the day. Very nice !

Dear Brodown-Team, Your product is the solution of the lazy world-citizen - finally! :) Don't lose time with boring newspapers, strange news magazines on TV or political talks with your neighbours. Simply scroll through Brodown's eMail and you are up-to-date. Wonderful! Can I customize it? Greetings from, The Hoomnizer ---- Anyway: Congratulations, you won the Hoomnizer's Award for the best product featured on Product Hunt today in my opinion:

@hoomnizer If only we had prepared a speech... Really appreciate the great feedback on the concept - nails the pin on the head of what we're trying to do. The world has enough information available, but yet somehow most people are still uninformed. Right now there isnt' any option to customize the email content, but its something we may look at down the road. Stay tuned...

I like the concept and amazing curated email lists are something I miss now-a-days. I'll give it a shot.

Why does it link to a page of shoes in Spanish? Haha is that the beta or is the link broken?
