I am very much convinced that the Boring Company is one of Nathan Fielder's stunts. Releasing a hat for a company is very much something he'd do "to make a company legitimate" on his show.
I would like to see what is under the cap
Pros:This hat seems perfect for putting on top of my head

Make a hat
Use that money to build underground tunnels
Use that money to build even more underground tunnels
While doing above, also reduce congestion in cities and provide fast transportation options

I love the company and obviously Elon is no dummy, but doesn't this posting represent the opposite of what PH strives to be? A place that levels the playing field so that little guys with good products can get noticed? After all, this crowded out some startup from the top 5 for the day. (Of course, I'll likely buy the hat. And I love Product Hunt, so my mini-rant is over!)
Even if I wasn't dealing with student loans, starting a company, and trying to stay afloat- I would not buy this hat.

Yes, one of Elon's company's is called The Boring Company. They are design new ways to create tunnels under cities to reduce traffic. It is a play on words but an interesting idea.
