The Original TextMechanic Site — Quick access to easy text manipulation for writers

It's not pretty and it's not meant to be. It's just simple, single task, browser based, text manipulation tools. The original TextMechanic site (recently updated in February) that allows you to easily do things like alphabetize a list, strip out prefixes/suffixes, do lettercase conversions, get word/character counts, remove spaces, remove accents, remove line breaks, join lines, remove duplicate lines etc. etc. etc. The groupings of other features include obfuscation tools, line tools, numeration tools, permutation, randomization and a host of other miscellaneous options. Sure some/any/all of these tools are available in MS Office or via add-ons for Google Docs but, sometimes you just need to do 1 thing, do it quickly, and be able to access it from any computer — TextMechanic is browser based. A labor of love from it's originator. There are other scraper sites benefitting from the labors of this site but, TextMechanic.co is the original. (they had to move from .com because of domain name issues.)
