Tempo is an all-in-one home fitness studio featuring elite trainers who can see when you make a mistake and help you fix it, live. With its built-in 3D sensors, Tempo tracks your form, counts your reps, and recommends weights.
I'm curious what the big differences between this and Mirror are. It seems really similar (down to the design) but I'd love to know what makes Tempo stand out in the increasingly crowded at-home fitness market.
@taylormajewski Tempo has built-in 3D sensors that track your form and count your reps as you workout and giving you personalized guidance when you need it. Mirror does not.
Tempo tracks your strength by monitoring your form, reps, and weights being used as you exercise giving you accurate metrics. Mirror does not. So it would say you burned 500 calories while you sit on the couch because it doesn't track you.
Tempo also comes with all the weights, dumbells and barbell required for most strength and HIIT classes, Mirror does not., you have to buy your own.

?maker Could this be stored outside on a covered patio or in a garage? Is there a cover for it so it doesn't need to be dusted and also for privacy - since it might live in a bedroom or other area where folks could have an "ooops I'm naked" moment?
Looks like an amazing product. But the pricing is extreme... you have to buy this thing for 2k or 55 a month, and then to subscribe again to use it für 40 bucks a month..
@jamie_ross if convenience was a fad and if that was the whole offering I might understand where you’re coming from. Tempo's main offering is democratizing the guidance, motivation, and accountability that makes personal training effective, but which most Americans can't afford.
@jamie_ross Fad or not it's seems well thought out and very well designed. They have clearly put in a lot of hard work and money into this. It's their launch day let's be more supportive. Congratulations @moawia_eldeeb :)
Great technology, but don't you think some of the exercises of the gym, like heavy squats and deadlifts, are being sacrificed by trying the home workout system with dumbbells?
I tried to order this product and the buy it button doesn’t work on my iPhone and when I eventually got to the checkout through other links it still wouldn’t let me complete all the fields to confirm my order. I would love to try the product and allow other athletes to do the same #athletepreneur
I love this app. I have already bought barbells with dumbelss to train at home. I can suggest visiting this link where you can choose the barbell https://sportstopics.com/best-ol.... Grreat app. Thank you for your work.
Delay after delay with enough blame between Tempo and XPO to make both democrats and republicans in congress blush. Promised a delivery date of June 8th-15th, a full 30 days later than originally promised. As of June 30th, the Tempo has not even been released to the shipper with no promised delivery date. What a botched launch. Makes me wonder if anyone besides reviewers have received their unit. What a shame as the reviews are amazing. I am a very frustrated customer.
@gabrieltomescu Great question.
The standard package includes upto 45lbs on each dumbell and upto 100lbs on the barbell. For interval training this should be more than enough.
The beauty of Tempo is that you can always get more weights as you progress. Our barbell and dumbells have standard 28.5MM diameter which means you can use standard weight plates. This means you can load the dumbells with upto 100lbs and the barbell with more than 300+ pound.
