@hazheyworth Thanks! I use the web client too, until I imagined how useful it would be to have an native client, launched by some shortcut and boom! you have multiple disposable emails at your service. convenience x 10 :P
Tempbox gives you the ability to create multiple disposable emails which you can use to test your services, register on websites you think dubious, or receive a super-secret message from your friend :P.
@iamkunkel Thank you Kunkel. I'm glad you liked it. I would love to hear your feedback on what could be improved or a feature that you think could be nice to have.
Congrats on the launch! I wonder what is the advantage of the service as a standalone app instead of web service for me as a user? I'm a long user of disposable inboxes and even though this seems nice, it's one app more instead of one tab more
@bojan_kanizaj Thank you Bojan. The only advantage would be the convenience. With a shortcut configured for the app to open, you have the disposable email in seconds. Also receive notifications when an email/message is received, this wouldn't be a big selling point but it would be helpful if you are multitasking and letting the app run in the background.
I also see the app serves the same reason we have native email clients even though they can be accessed with web portals. Would love to hear your feedback! :)
@waseem_akram7 Thank you for the throughout and well thought reply! I can't install Tempbox on Mojave - if you have a version for users like me, i'd def love to try it out!
