Hey Product Hunt, Divya here, Product Manager at Telnyx. My team and I are excited to make our Verify API generally available today. While we were building out our Verify product, we engaged with developers to better understand what they wanted to see in an all-in-one programmable user authentication service. And the main thing that kept coming up over and over was that while SMS works fine for 2FA in many countries, as startups start to scale globally, their verification services either don’t convert well or were prohibitively expensive at other providers. That’s why many asked us if we could enable new verification channels that gave them more flexibility and cost savings. So, based on that feedback, we expanded our Verify product to offer the following delivery channels available via one API -- ☎️ Voice Call 📞 Flash Call 💳 PSD2 📲 WhatsApp 💬 SMS Over the coming months, we’ll also be adding verification capabilities via Email, Push Notifications, and RCS. If you’d like early access to any of these channels, please let us know. We’ve already had a ton of great feedback from our Beta developers, so can’t wait to hear from more of you now that we’ve made the service generally available!
